L1example
na hi sudhākara-bimba-mudhākaraṁ
na hido not at all — hi is emphatic; the negation lands on 'kuru' ('make'), in L2मत ही — यह निषेध L2 के 'कुरु' पर पड़ता है; 'हि' बल देता है
sudhākara-bimba-mudhā-karaṁ[your face,] which leaves the moon's orb pointless sudhā-kara = 'nectar-maker', i.e. the moon; bimba = its disc; mudhā-kara = 'making futile'; the whole compound qualifies mukhaṁ in L2. Hear the chime sudhākara / mudhākara.
na hi — do not at all; sudhākara-bimba-mudhā-karaṁ — [your face,] which makes the moon's disc useless; [kuru mukhaṁ — make your face (so), L2]
Don't do it! Your face outshines the moon and leaves its orb with nothing to do.
The opening line of an illustrative verse (udāharaṇa) of bimbādhara-sudhā-pānam, 'drinking the nectar of the bimba-red lower lip' — the sambhoga topic named in the lead-in 'atha bimbādhara-sudhā-pānam.' The line turns on a sound-echo: sudhā-kara (the moon, the 'nectar-maker') is left mudhā-kara ('made futile') by her face.

kurumake [it] — but with the 'na hi' of L1, do NOT make it 2sg imperative, negated by 'na hi'करो (आज्ञा; 'न हि' से निषिद्ध — अर्थात् 'मत करो')

karāvṛtamcovered over with your hand kara-āvṛtam; predicate accusative with mukhaṁ — 'do not make your face hand-covered'हाथ से ढका हुआ (मुख का विधेय — 'मुख को हाथ से ढका मत करो')
karabhoru — O lovely-thighed one; mukhaṁ — your face; karāvṛtam — hand-covered; na hi kuru — do not make [it so]
So, lovely one, don't hide your face behind your hand.
