upacārān — 'upacāra' means sambhoga-aṅgāni vastūni, the components of union; ādi-śabdāt — from 'ādi'; asahiṣṇutvam ca — impatience too; etaiḥ eva — by these very feelings; asya — of this; pūrva-rāga-anantaryam — its immediately following pūrva-rāga; dyotyate — is signalled.
Viśvanātha reads it his own way. 'upacāra' he takes as the concrete components of union — the acts and objects that make up sambhoga. And the 'ādi' ('and the like') he unpacks as asahiṣṇutva — the couple's impatience, their inability to bear any delay. It is by these very feelings — fear, bashfulness, impatience — that Rūpa signals this union comes straight on the heels of pūrva-rāga.
Note where the two commentators part on 'upacāra': Jīva glosses it as the tat-tat-paripāṭī, the set routines of love-service (s2); Viśvanātha glosses it as sambhogāṅgāni vastūni, the concrete components of union. Viśvanātha alone also unpacks the 'ādi' as asahiṣṇutva (impatience). Both agree only that the causes named signal saṁkṣipta's immediate succession from pūrva-rāga.
