nirundhe dainyābdhiṁ harati guru-cintā paribhavaṁ
nirundhe[she] dams up, holds back ni-√rudh, 3sg middle; the subject arrives only in L4 (viraha-mūrcchā-sahacarī) — L1–L2 list what she doesरोक देती है (कर्ता चौथी पंक्ति में विरह-मूर्च्छा-सहचरी के रूप में आता है — पहली-दूसरी पंक्ति में उसके काम गिनाए जा रहे हैं)
dainyābdhiṁthe whole ocean of dejection accusative, object of nirundhe; dainya 'wretchedness, low spirits' + abdhi 'ocean'दीनता के समुद्र को (जिसे वह रोकती है)
harati[she] carries away, sweeps off √hṛ, 3sgहर लेती है
guru-cintāheavy worry — this, with the humiliation next, is what she sweeps off guru 'grievous, heavy' + cintā 'anxiety'; read with paribhavaṁ as the twofold object of harati (a dvandva, 'worry-and-humiliation'), though the printed guru-cintā could instead stand as a nominative, 'heavy worry [carries off humiliation]'भारी चिन्ता को (परिभव के साथ हरति का दुहरा कर्म — 'चिन्ता और तिरस्कार'; अथवा यह प्रथमा भी हो सकती है — 'भारी चिन्ता तिरस्कार को हर लेती है')
paribhavaṁand [she carries off her] humiliation accusative, object of harati; paribhava 'being overwhelmed, disgrace'तिरस्कार को / पराभव को (हरति का कर्म)
nirundhe — [she] dams up; dainyābdhiṁ — the ocean of dejection; harati — [she] carries away; guru-cintā(-)paribhavaṁ — heavy worry and humiliation.
This is an illustrative verse, and its subject — 'the constant companion of the swoon of separation' — only lands in the last line; here we simply hear what she does. She dams up the whole ocean of Rādhā's dejection so it cannot flood her, and she sweeps away her heavy worry and her sense of humiliation. Because Rādhā has fainted, she feels none of it.
An udāharaṇa of moha, the swoon or loss of consciousness introduced just above by the lead-in 'atha mohaḥ—'. Viśvanātha identifies the verse as a letter Lalitā writes to Kṛṣṇa, now away in Mathurā, describing Rādhā's viraha-mūrcchā, the fainting of separation. The whole conceit: because the swoon blanks Rādhā out, it 'spares' her every torment — so it is praised, with bitter irony, as a helpful minister.

vilumpaty unmādaṁ sthagayati balād bāṣpa-laharīm |
vilumpaty unmādaṁ[she] plunders away the madness [of longing] vi-√lup, 3sg; unmāda 'frenzy, mad delirium' (itself a vyabhicāri-bhāva) is the accusative objectउन्माद को नष्ट कर देती है (उन्माद — पागलपन-सा आवेग, स्वयं एक व्यभिचारी-भाव, यहाँ कर्म है)
sthagayati[she] covers over, stops up √sthag, 3sgढँक देती है / रोक देती है
balādby main force balāt, ablative used adverbially — 'forcibly'बलपूर्वक
bāṣpa-laharīmthe surging wave of tears accusative, object of sthagayati; bāṣpa 'tears' + laharī 'wave, swell'आँसुओं की लहर को (जिसे वह ढँकती है)
vilumpati — [she] plunders away; unmādaṁ — the madness; sthagayati — [she] covers over; balāt — by force; bāṣpa-laharīm — the surging wave of tears.
She plunders away Rādhā's unmāda — the mad frenzy of longing — and by main force she stops up the rising flood of her tears. The swoon shuts every one of these down. Notice: what would otherwise be signs of anguish are here counted as things she is 'saved' from feeling.

Now, O enemy of Kaṁsa — the letter turns and speaks to Kṛṣṇa himself — this, and only this, is what is being done for the lotus-eyed Rādhā. The word kevalam, 'only,' carries the sting: fainting away is the sole 'help' she gets.

viraha-mūrcchā-sahacarīthe constant companion of the swoon of separation — the subject at last nominative sg fem, the grammatical subject of all the verbs above; viraha 'separation' + mūrcchā 'swoon, faint' + sahacarī 'she who goes along with, her inseparable attendant'विरह की मूर्च्छा रूपी सहचरी (ऊपर के सब क्रियापदों का कर्ता — विरह अर्थात् वियोग, मूर्च्छा अर्थात् बेहोशी, सहचरी अर्थात् संग-संग चलनेवाली अभिन्न सखी)
vidhatte — renders; sācivyaṁ — the minister's service; tava viraha-mūrcchā-sahacarī — she, the constant companion of the swoon of separation from you.
And here the subject finally lands: 'the constant companion of the swoon of separation from you.' She renders Rādhā this one ministering service — sācivya, the devoted help a minister gives his king. The bitter point of the whole verse: the only 'minister' still serving Rādhā is her faint, and the only 'service' left is to black out.

strī-vadha-mahā-nidhiḥ'the great treasure-hoard of killing a woman' strī-vadha 'woman-slaughter' + mahā-nidhi 'great treasure' — bitingly sarcastic: her death is styled as Kṛṣṇa's coming 'prize'स्त्री-वध रूपी महानिधि (तीखा व्यंग्य — उसकी मृत्यु को कृष्ण को मिलनेवाला 'पुरस्कार' कहकर)
tava hasta-gataḥ bhaviṣyati'will fall right into your hand' hasta-gata 'gone-to-hand, within your grasp'तुम्हारे हाथ में आ जाएगा / तुम्हारी पकड़ में आ जाएगा
iti dyotitam— this is what the letter hints dyotita 'made to shine, suggested'; the dhvani — the charge is delivered without being stated outrightऐसा ध्वनित किया गया है (आरोप बिना खुलकर कहे ही व्यंजना से सूचित होता है)
tena — by this; asyāḥ kṛte tvayā cintā na kāryā — you need not worry for her; tatra sukhena stheyam — rest easy about it; adya śvo vā strī-vadha-mahā-nidhiḥ tava hasta-gataḥ bhaviṣyati — today or tomorrow the great prize of woman-murder will be in your hand; iti dyotitam — so it is hinted.
Now Viśvanātha draws out the barb. By dressing up the swoon as a 'service,' Lalitā is really saying, with cutting sarcasm: 'So you needn't trouble yourself over Rādhā, Kṛṣṇa — rest easy. Any day now the great treasure of having killed a woman will drop neatly into your hands.' The praise of the swoon is a mask; the letter's real charge is that Kṛṣṇa's absence is about to make him Rādhā's murderer. This suggested sense — dyotita, said without being said — is the whole point of the verse.
