kālindyāḥ pulinaṁ — यमुना का तट; pradoṣa-marutaḥ — प्रदोष (सन्ध्या) की हवाएँ; ramyāḥ śaśaṅkāṁśavaḥ — रमणीय चन्द्र-किरणें।
The sandbank of the Yamunā, the breezes of nightfall, the lovely rays of the moon —
यमुना का तट, सन्ध्या की (शीतल) हवाएँ और मनोहर चन्द्र-किरणें — यहाँ तीन वस्तुएँ गिनाई जाती हैं। तीनों ही रात की शीतल वस्तुएँ हैं।
An udāharaṇa quoted from the Padyāvalī (376). In Viśvanātha's framing (see c2.s1), Paurṇamāsī — now in Dvārakā — speaks the verse to describe Kṛṣṇa's anubhāva, the outward welling-up of his longing as he hears the gopīs' message. The three things named here are all cooling, night-time things; the next line turns them into a reproach.

Jīva reads the setting. The 'kālindyāḥ' passage was, for the most part, recited by a parrot the Gokula women had sent. And the word 'jayanti' — 'may they triumph' — should be taken as voicing a longing now fulfilled. That is the sense.
'कालिन्द्याः' आदि यह पद्य प्रायः गोकुल की देवियों (गोपियों) द्वारा भेजे गए तोते के मुख से कहा गया। 'जयन्ति' पद के द्वारा यह सिद्ध-अभिलाषा (जिसकी कामना पूर्ण हो चुकी हो, ऐसी दशा) बन जाए — यही अर्थ है।

prayogasya evaprecisely this usageइसी प्रयोग का ही
kavibhiḥ saṁmatatvātbecause the poets sanction it abl. of cause; saṁmata = approved, acceptedक्योंकि कवियों को यह सम्मत (मान्य) है
jayateḥ ... prayogasya eva — precisely this usage of √ji; kavibhiḥ saṁmatatvāt — because the poets approve it
jayateḥ — 'जयति' धातु का; tvatnvos tyanti (?) — (क्षतिग्रस्त अंश); prayogasya eva — इसी प्रयोग का ही; kavibhiḥ saṁmatatvāt — कवियों के सम्मत होने के कारण।
He backs the reading on grammar: this very usage of the verb 'ji' is one the poets accept. (The middle of the sentence is corrupt in the source, so the finer grammatical point cannot be recovered.)
'जयति' धातु का ... (यहाँ पाठ खण्डित है) ... इसी प्रयोग को ही, क्योंकि कवियों को यह मान्य है।
The stretch 'tvatnvos tyanti' is damaged in the source and printed with a '?'. Only the frame survives — that the usage is one the poets endorse.
'त्वत्न्वोस्त्यन्ति' वाला अंश मूल में क्षतिग्रस्त है और उसके साथ '?' छपा है। केवल ढाँचा बचा है — कि यह ऐसा प्रयोग है जिसे कवि स्वीकार करते हैं।
