L1definition
ākasmika-bhayādīnāṁ prastutiḥ syād rasāntaram |
ākasmika-bhayādīnāmof a sudden fear and feelings like it genitive — these are the material that gets brought into play; -ādi opens the class beyond fear aloneजिसका — अकस्मात् उठने वाले भय आदि (अन्य भावों) का
prastutiḥtheir coming onto the scene, their being set going [inside the love-mood]प्रकट होना, बीच में आ खड़ा होना
syātwould be — the defining 'is to be reckoned as'हो / होता है
rasāntarama shift into another rasaरसान्तर (दूसरा रस) कहलाता है
ākasmika-bhayādīnām — of sudden fear and the like; prastutiḥ — the coming-into-play; syāt — is reckoned to be; rasāntaram — a shift into another rasa.
When fear, or some feeling like it, suddenly breaks into the love-scene, that counts as rasāntara — a different rasa entering the śṛṅgāra. Rūpa names the thing here; next he will split it.
rasāntara — literally 'another rasa': a second mood (here bhaya, fear) that surfaces in the midst of the erotic mood and gets folded into it rather than replacing it.

yādṛcchikaṁ buddhi-pūrvam iti dvedhā tad ucyate ||
buddhi-pūrvamthe deliberate kind (lit. mind-led, done on purpose)बुद्धिपूर्वक (जान-बूझकर लाया हुआ)
itinamely — closing off the pair just namedइस प्रकार
dvedhāin two ways, twofoldदो प्रकार का
tatthat rasāntaraवह (रसान्तर)
ucyateis declared to beकहा जाता है
tat — that rasāntara; dvedhā — as twofold; iti — namely; yādṛcchikam — the by-chance kind; buddhi-pūrvam — [and] the deliberate kind; ucyate — is declared.
It comes in two kinds. One is yādṛcchika, where the new feeling arises by pure chance. The other is buddhi-pūrva, where it is brought on deliberately.
L3definition
upasthitam akasmād yat tad yādṛcchikam ucyate ||
upasthitamwhat turns up, what presents itselfजो आ उपस्थित हो जाए, आ पड़े
akasmātout of nowhere, with nothing leading up to it ablative used adverbially — 'suddenly, without a cause set in motion'अकस्मात्, बिना किसी कारण के सहसा
yatwhatever [so arises]जो
yat — whatever; akasmāt — suddenly; upasthitam — presents itself; tat — that; yādṛcchikam — by-chance; ucyate — is called.
Now he defines the first kind. Whatever turns up suddenly, with nothing leading up to it — that is the yādṛcchika, the by-chance rasāntara.

yāshe who — relative pronoun, picked up by 'sā' in L6जो (नायिका)
yā — she who; adya — today; gurubhiḥ upāyaiḥ — by powerful strategies; sāmādibhiḥ — by conciliation and the rest; api — even [by all of these]…
Look — even today, though every powerful means was tried on her, coaxing and all the rest…
An udāharaṇa of the yādṛcchika rasāntara defined just above (L3): a second rasa — here bhaya, fear — arising by pure chance inside the love-scene and tipping it into union. The four lines are one mālinī verse.

…the doe-eyed girl would not let even a shred of her māna slip. Her sulking pride held firm against all of it.
māna — the wounded, jealous pride a heroine assumes toward her beloved (the sulk). māna-mudrā is the visible seal or posture of that mood — the set of the face and body that shows it.

And what finally broke her? Only a thunderclap. The first monsoon cloud rumbled, Bhadrā startled in fear — and look! — that sudden fear did in an instant what no amount of coaxing could. Fear arrives by chance and tips straight into union: this is the yādṛcchika rasāntara in action.

Viśvanātha sets the scene before glossing a word. It is Bhadrā's own girlfriends, talking among themselves, who speak this 'api…' verse. So the voice marveling at what happened is the sakhīs'.

svayam eva grāho bhujābhyāṁ grahaṇaṁ yatra, tad yathā syāt tathā parirebhe ||
svayam evaby herself alone, of her own accordस्वयं ही
grahaṇam= the grasping — unpacking 'grāha' into its plain senseग्रहण (पकड़ना)
yatrain which — the bahuvrīhi frame: 'that [embrace] in which…'
tat yathā syāt tathādone in such a way that this comes about resolves the accusative svayaṁgrāham as adverbial (kriyā-viśeṣaṇa) on the verbवह जैसा हो वैसे (क्रिया के विशेषण रूप में — कैसे आलिंगन किया)
parirebheshe embracedआलिंगन किया
svayaṁgrāham = yatra — [that] in which; grāhaḥ — the seizing, that is; grahaṇam — the grasping; bhujābhyām — with both arms; svayam eva — is by herself; tat yathā syāt tathā — and so done that it turns out that way; parirebhe — she embraced.
Now he unpacks the compound svayaṁgrāham. Read it as a bahuvrīhi: 'the embrace in which the seizing — a grasping with both arms — is done by oneself.' Then he takes that accusative adverbially: she embraced Hari in exactly that manner — grabbing him herself, with her own two arms.
svayaṁgrāham is parsed as a bahuvrīhi turned into an adverbial accusative (kriyā-viśeṣaṇa) modifying parirebhe — it tells you how she embraced, not what she embraced.

A bare number (119) sits at the end of Viśvanātha's note, keying this illustrative verse to its place in the numbering. It carries no gloss of its own.
A numeric reference marker, not a word to be construed; it points to the verse's slot in a running count, nothing more.
