L1definition
sāmādau tu parikṣīṇe syād upekṣāvadhīraṇam |
sāmādau tu parikṣīṇebut once conciliation and the rest have run out — the peace-making means having failed locative absolute: sāma-ādi (sāma, dāna, bheda, daṇḍa — the four upāyas) + parikṣīṇe 'exhausted'; tu turns to the next topicपरन्तु जब साम आदि (साम, दान, भेद, दण्ड — चारों उपाय) चुक जाएँ, तब

upekṣāupekṣā — the giving-up, disregard [being defined]उपेक्षा
avadhīraṇamnamely, a scornful slighting — treating [him] as beneath noticeअवधीरण (तिरस्कार)
sāma-ādau tu parikṣīṇe — but once conciliation and the rest have run out; syāt — there arises; upekṣā — upekṣā (disregard); avadhīraṇam — namely, scornful slighting.
When conciliation and the other means have all been used up and failed, what arises is upekṣā — disregard, in the form of avadhīraṇa, a scornful slighting that treats him as beneath notice.
This is the lakṣaṇa (definition) of upekṣā, one of the moods of vipralambha treated in this prakaraṇa; the udāharaṇa follows in lines 3–6.

upekṣā — upekṣā; kaiścit kathyate — is defined by some; tūṣṇīm-bhāvatayā sthitiḥ — as merely holding one's place in silence.
But some define upekṣā differently. For them it is not scornful slighting but simply staying put in silence — saying and doing nothing at all. The verse leaves both views standing side by side.

eṣa — this one here; vallava-pateḥ — of the cowherd-king Nanda; vallabhaḥ sūnuḥ — is the dear son; tatra api — and beyond even that; vīra-agraṇīḥ — foremost of heroes.
This one here is the beloved son of Nanda, the cowherd-king. And beyond even that, he stands foremost among all heroes.
First line of the udāharaṇa illustrating upekṣā (15.125), specifically the avadhīraṇa reading of line 1 — Rādhā's grown-cold treatment that drives Kṛṣṇa away. Per Viśvanātha (next commentary) the speakers are Vṛndā, Śikhā and the other sakhīs, warning Rādhā's friends. The verse mounts a series of tatrāpi ('and even beyond that') clauses to argue how unworthy of coldness Kṛṣṇa is.

tatra api — and beyond even that; smara-maṇḍalī-vijayinā rūpeṇa — by a beauty that vanquishes the whole army of Cupids; vibhrājitaḥ — he shines resplendent.
And still more: he shines resplendent with a beauty that outdoes the entire army of Cupids. This is the man Rādhā is treating so coldly.
The tatrāpi chain continues: dear son of Nanda, then foremost hero, now peerlessly beautiful — each step building the case that coldness toward him is folly.

Jīva records a variant for the second half of line 5. Where the main text reads 'this coldness now — so here nothing good awaits her,' the variant reads 'this coldness should now be kept up strong — yet even so, plainly [look, he walks off].' He only notes the second reading; he does not choose between them.

avadhīraṇam — the word avadhīraṇa [in line 1]; avajñā — means contempt.
Viśvanātha glosses the key term: avadhīraṇa means avajñā — contempt, treating someone with disdain.

Viśvanātha unpacks the phrase: this one here is the son of Nanda the cowherd-king, and the word vallabha simply means priya, 'dear'.

śreyase na maṅgalāya[there is] no śreyas, i.e. no maṅgala — no welfare [in store for her] gloss-equation: śreyas = maṅgala, 'good, welfare''श्रेय' अर्थात मंगल के लिए नहीं
iyaṁ — this one, = Śrī Rādhā; yataḥ rūkṣatā pṛthuḥ abhūt — because her coldness has grown great; tena atra śrī-kṛṣṇena — therefore, with this Śrī Kṛṣṇa here; śreyase na = maṅgalāya na — there is no welfare for her.
Viśvanātha fills in the pronouns and glosses the terms. 'This' is Śrī Rādhā. Because her coldness has grown so great, this Śrī Kṛṣṇa here will not turn out for her welfare — śreyas, he notes, means maṅgala, 'good fortune, welfare'.

Viśvanātha draws the point out: by her own doing she will be left fallen from her good fortune — she will forfeit the blessing of his love herself. That is the purport of the verse.
