L1definition
kevalaṁ dainyam ālambya pāda-pāto natir matā ||
kevalaṁresting on nothing but — it leans on humility alone adverb qualifying dainyam ālambya; kevalam = 'solely, and on nothing else'केवल (और किसी का नहीं)
dainyamon humility, on self-abasement acc., what the falling takes as its supportदैन्य का — जिसका सहारा लेकर यह गिरना होता है
ālambyataking as its one ground gerund — 'having leaned on'सहारा लेकर
pāda-pātaḥa throwing of oneself at the feetचरणों पर गिरना
natir matāis reckoned to be natiḥ, 'bowing' matā = 'is held/considered'; this is the lakṣaṇa being fixedनति (प्रणति) मानी गई है
kevalaṁ dainyam ālambya — resting on nothing but humility; pāda-pātaḥ — a falling at the feet; natiḥ matā — is reckoned to be natiḥ, 'bowing'.
A falling at the feet that leans on pure humility and nothing else is what we call natiḥ, 'bowing.' The key word is kevalam, 'solely': it is not display and not strategy, only self-abasement throwing itself down. That act is the anubhāva named natiḥ.

kṣiti-luṭhita-śikhaṇḍāpīḍam ārān mukunde
kṣiti-luṭhita-śikhaṇḍāpīḍama bow so low that his peacock-feather crest tumbles on the ground acc., describing praṇāmam (L3); kṣiti 'earth' + luṭhita 'rolled' + śikhaṇḍa-āpīḍa 'peacock-plume crest' — the crest is Kṛṣṇa's, so Kṛṣṇa is the one bowingजिसमें मोरपंख का मुकुट धरती पर लोट रहा हो — ऐसे प्रणाम को (यह मुकुट कृष्ण का है, अतः झुकनेवाले कृष्ण ही हैं)
ārātfrom close by — so Viśvanātha (the word can also mean 'from afar') ārāt is an auto-antonym meaning both 'near' and 'far'; Viśvanātha (s1) fixes it as samīpe, 'nearby'समीप से (अथवा दूर से — यह शब्द दोनों अर्थ रखता है, यहाँ खुला रहने दिया गया)
mukundewhen Mukunda (Kṛṣṇa) — [as he makes the bow] loc.; with racayati (L3) it forms a locative absolute — 'when Mukunda makes...'
mukunde — when Mukunda; ārāt — from close by; kṣiti-luṭhita-śikhaṇḍāpīḍam [praṇāmam racayati] — [makes a bow] in which his peacock-crest rolls on the ground.
Now the illustration begins. Mukunda bends so low that the peacock-feather crest on his head rolls in the dust. The crest is Kṛṣṇa's own, so it is Kṛṣṇa who bows here — the offender pacifying the one he has wronged. ārāt Viśvanātha reads as 'from close by.'
The udāharaṇa (illustrative verse, 124) of natiḥ, 'bowing,' defined just above in 123 (L1) as a fall at the feet grounded in pure humility. Here it is Kṛṣṇa who prostrates, to break the sulk (māna) of the offended gopī.

racayati rati-kānta-stoma-kānte praṇāmam |
racayatias he offers, while he is making [the bow] loc. sg. present participle; locative absolute with mukunde (L2) — 'when Mukunda makes'रचते हैं — जब मुकुन्द (प्रणाम) रचते हैं (तब)
rati-kānta-stoma-kāntelovelier than a whole host of Cupids loc., qualifying mukunde (L2); rati-kānta 'Rati's beloved' = Kāma/Cupid, stoma 'host', kānta 'more charming than'रति के प्रियतम (कामदेव) के समूह से भी अधिक मनोहर ऐसे (मुकुन्द के)
praṇāmama full prostration acc., the cognate object of racayatiप्रणाम को
rati-kānta-stoma-kānte [mukunde] — Mukunda, lovelier than a host of Cupids; racayati praṇāmam — as he makes a full prostration.
As Mukunda — himself more beautiful than a whole crowd of love-gods — makes this prostration. The word racayati ('as he makes') hangs together with mukunde from the line before: 'when Mukunda, lovely past every Cupid, is making his bow...' The picture is of the most beautiful being alive throwing himself down.

Meanwhile the woman weeps: her two eyes are rain-clouds, and from them a shower of tears comes down. This sets up the verse's one big metaphor — eyes as monsoon clouds, tears as the rain.

varatanuḥ — the fair-bodied woman; iha — here; nayana-jaladharābhyāṁ bāṣpa-vṛṣṭiṁ kurvatī — pouring a rain of tears from her cloud-eyes; māna-grīṣma-nāśaṁ śaśaṁsa — announced the breaking of the summer-heat of her sulk.
The fair-bodied woman, weeping this shower of tears, thereby announced right here that the burning summer of her māna was over. The metaphor completes: her sulk was the parching heat; her tears are the first monsoon rain; and rain arriving is the sign that summer has broken. So her very weeping proclaims that she has relented.

āhasays [these words]कहती है
ārātthe verse-word ārāt (L2) the lemma Viśvanātha picks up to fix its sense'आरात्' — जिस शब्द का अर्थ विश्वनाथ यहाँ स्थिर करते हैं
samīpemeans 'nearby, close at hand' — not 'from afar' Viśvanātha's reading; ārāt can go either way, and he takes 'near'समीप के अर्थ में (विश्वनाथ 'निकट' अर्थ लेते हैं)
vṛndā kundavallīm āha — Vṛndā says [this] to Kundavallī; ārāt — the word ārāt; samīpe — [means] nearby.
Viśvanātha sets the frame: the speaker is Vṛndā, and she is telling it to Kundavallī. Then he glosses one word: ārāt, he says, means samīpe, 'from close by.' So on his reading Kṛṣṇa bows near the gopī, not at a distance.
ārāt is a well-known auto-antonym: it can mean both 'near' and 'far.' Viśvanātha fixes it as 'near' (samīpe) here; the decode leaves the mūla word open and does not harmonize it with any other reading.
