na hi saṅkuca paṅkajekṣaṇaḥ
na hi saṅkucado not shrink back at all na hi = emphatic 'surely do not'; saṅkuca = imperative, 'draw back / contract in shy modesty'निश्चय ही सिकुड़ो मत — लज्जा के मारे पीछे मत हट (हे नायिके, तुझसे कहा जा रहा है)
paṅkajekṣaṇaḥthe lotus-eyed one — Kṛṣṇa paṅkaja-īkṣaṇaḥ; nominative subject, its verb runs on into L2कमलनयन (कृष्ण) — कर्ता, जिसकी क्रिया अगली पंक्ति में चलती है
na hi saṅkuca — do not shrink back at all; paṅkaja-īkṣaṇaḥ — the lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa [subject of L2].
A maidservant of Candrāvalī is coaxing her mistress. She says: Don't draw back shyly! Let the lotus-eyed Kṛṣṇa... — the sentence runs straight on into the next line.
The udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of praṇaya — the love-stage in which reverential restraint melts into viśrambha, a confiding intimacy that treats the beloved as utterly one's own. Per Viśvanātha, the previous verse showed praṇaya in its form after māna (the jealous sulk); this one shows it in its form before māna. The lead-in marks it "yathā vā," a second example. Spoken (so Viśvanātha) by an unnamed maidservant of Candrāvalī to her mistress, the svādhīna-kāntā — the beloved who has her lover at her command.

Let Kṛṣṇa himself fasten the two anklets on your feet. The maidservant is urging Candrāvalī to allow Kṛṣṇa to perform this intimate, humble little service for her.

anayoḥ dhvanibhiḥ — by the jingling of these two anklets; vilajjatāṁ — let her be put to shame [the rival, L4].
And by the very sound of those anklets jingling, let the rival be put to shame. The thought: anklets that Kṛṣṇa's own hands fastened ring out Candrāvalī's triumph, and that sound alone is enough to humble her rival.

...the rival beloved, the woman of the other camp, shamed like a female goose. The goose is prized for its sweet honking and lovely gait; but the anklets Kṛṣṇa fastened ring sweeter still, so the rival is outdone and abashed — like a goose whose own call has been bettered.

Viśvanātha sets up the verse. Praṇaya (confiding love) has two phases — one before the jealous sulk (māna) and one after it. The previous verse showed the after-māna phase. Now, to show the before-māna phase as well, Rūpa Gosvāmī gives this verse, 'yathā vā.'
praṇaya — a stage of love in which reverential restraint (gaurava, sambhrama) melts into viśrambha: an intimacy so confident it treats the beloved as utterly one's own. Viśvanātha here distinguishes two phases of it, one before and one after māna (the jealous sulk), and files this instance on the near side, before māna.

candrāvalyāḥ kāpi kiṅkarīsome maidservant of Candrāvalī kā api = 'a certain, unnamed one'चन्द्रावली की कोई (अनामी) दासी
svādhīna-kāntāṁ tāṁ pratyto her — Candrāvalī, the beloved who has her lover at her command svādhīna-kāntā = the heroine whose lover is under her sway; prati = 'addressing toward'उस स्वाधीन-कान्ता (जिसका प्रियतम उसके वश में है) नायिका के प्रति
āha—na hi saṅkucetisays: 'na hi saṅkuca...' (do not shrink back)'न हि सङ्कुच' कहकर कहती है
candrāvalyāḥ kā api kiṅkarī — some maidservant of Candrāvalī; svādhīna-kāntāṁ tāṁ prati — to her, the svādhīna-kāntā; āha na hi saṅkuca iti — says 'na hi saṅkuca.'
Viśvanātha fixes speaker and addressee. An unnamed maidservant of Candrāvalī is speaking, and she addresses Candrāvalī herself — here cast as a svādhīna-kāntā, the heroine whose lover is entirely under her sway. Her words are 'na hi saṅkuca,' do not shrink back.
svādhīna-kāntā (svādhīna-bhartṛkā) — the classical heroine-type who keeps her lover so devoted that he is at her beck; a stock mark of the type is exactly this, the beloved adorning her body or feet. That is why the maidservant can propose that Kṛṣṇa himself fasten the anklets.

kathaṁ sva-pādau sparśaryāmi'how could I ever let my own two feet be touched?' sparśaryāmi = causative, 'cause to be touched'; kathaṁ = 'how — I never could'मैं अपने दोनों चरण कैसे स्पर्श कराऊँ — यह मुझसे कभी न होगा
iti vinayaṁ tyaja— give up that modest reticence iti closes the thought that constitutes the vinaya; tyaja = imperative, 'abandon it'ऐसा (सोचकर जो) विनय (संकोच) है, उसे छोड़ दे
ity arthaḥ— that is the meaning [of 'do not shrink back']ऐसा अर्थ है
śrī-kṛṣṇasya pāṇyoḥ kathaṁ sva-pādau sparśaryāmi iti vinayaṁ tyaja — give up the modesty that thinks 'how could I let Kṛṣṇa's hands touch my feet?'; ity arthaḥ — that is what 'na hi saṅkuca' means.
Here is what 'do not shrink back' actually asks. Candrāvalī's shyness is the thought, 'How could I ever let my feet be touched by Śrī Kṛṣṇa's own hands?' The maidservant tells her: drop that reticence. To let the Lord render such a service is not presumption — it is praṇaya, the confidence of love.

Candrāvalī pushes back. 'You are wrecking my reverence for Kṛṣṇa! Making him stoop to fasten my anklets — why do that? Why not just put them on yourself?' To answer this, the maidservant speaks the next lines, 'anayoḥ...' — the reply is coming.

śrī-kṛṣṇa-hasta-arpitābhyāṁ nūpurābhyāṁ saubhāgya-ādhikya-vyakteḥ — because from the anklets fastened by Kṛṣṇa's own hand [your] surpassing good fortune is made plain; iti bhāvaḥ — this is the sense behind it.
The maidservant's real answer: it must be Kṛṣṇa's hands, not mine. Only when Kṛṣṇa himself fastens the anklets does Candrāvalī's superior good fortune (saubhāgya) shine out for all to see. The rival is shamed precisely because the Lord serves this beloved. That is the point.

atra praṇayaḥ spaṣṭaḥ — here praṇaya stands out clearly.
Viśvanātha names the abiding love on show. What this verse displays, openly, is praṇaya — the confiding love that lets the beloved drop all reverential restraint and accept even the Lord's service as her own due.

citta-dravas tu śrī-kṛṣṇa-sparśa-gamyaḥ ||
citta-dravas tuthe melting of the heart, on the other hand tu = 'but / whereas'; citta-drava = the heart going softपरन्तु चित्त का द्रवीभूत होना (हृदय का पिघलना)
śrī-kṛṣṇa-sparśa-gamyaḥis to be reached only through Śrī Kṛṣṇa's touch gamya = 'accessible, to be inferred'; his very contact is the avenueश्रीकृष्ण के स्पर्श से ही जाना जाता है (अनुमेय है)
citta-dravaḥ tu — but the heart-melting; śrī-kṛṣṇa-sparśa-gamyaḥ — is arrived at through Kṛṣṇa's touch.
One more distinction. Praṇaya is explicit; but the inward softening, the melting of the heart (citta-drava), is not stated outright — it can only be inferred from the touch of Kṛṣṇa on her feet. The reverence has melted into confidence, and that is praṇaya; the deeper melting of the heart is felt through his very contact.
citta-drava — the 'melting' or softening of the heart. Here Viśvanātha's point is that the verse shows praṇaya on its surface, while this inner melting is left implicit — carried by Kṛṣṇa's touch rather than named.
