This begins the udāharaṇa (verse 109), the illustrative verse for praṇaya defined just above in L1. Its opening line (kucopānte spṛṣṭā mura-vijayinā tad-bhuja-śiras-) runs in from the lead-in; the compound tad-bhuja-śiras-tiro-nyasta-grīvā, 'neck laid on the top of his arm', bridges the two lines.

viśrambhaṁviśrambha [the word in the definition] means —विश्रम्भ (विश्वास) का अर्थ है

So Jīva glosses viśrambha: on one's own part, feeling no separation between oneself and the beloved — holding the two as one.

Viśvanātha glosses viśrambha: it is trust, the dropping of all awe-struck formality. It grows out of feeling one's own life-breath, mind, intellect, body, and belongings as one with the lover's. And here is his key point: even when that oneness is fully present, a stab of jealous anger is not out of keeping — that is simply how rasa works. So the frown and crooked glance below do not contradict the intimacy.

'Knitting her brow' means drawing it crooked into a frown. That frown hints at a flash of jealous impatience — so the māna-element is still present. This is exactly the residue of anger Viśvanātha allowed for above: it fits, because rasa works that way.

Now the payoff: she wipes her own face with his garment — his yellow cloth. To use his cloth so freely, without a shred of formality, suggests that she feels herself one with him. That is praṇaya.
