kuvalaya-vipināny asau sṛjantī
kuvalaya-vipinānisowing whole groves of blue lotuses acc. pl., object of sṛjantī; a rūpaka — her dark, restless eyes are the 'blue lotuses' (kuvalaya = indīvara, the blue water-lily)नीलकमलों के वन को (जो वास्तव में उसकी श्याम, चंचल आँखें ही हैं) — रचती हुई का कर्म
asauthat girl there [whom Kṛṣṇa is pointing out] nom. fem.; the real interrogative subject arrives only as kā in L3 — 'who is that girl…?'
sṛjantīas she keeps producing, sending them out nom. fem. present participle agreeing with asau/kā — the glances 'create' the lotus-grovesरचती हुई / उत्पन्न करती हुई (उसके कटाक्ष मानो नीलकमलों के वन उगा देते हैं)
asau — that girl; kuvalaya-vipināni sṛjantī — sowing groves of blue lotuses.
Kṛṣṇa is speaking to his friend Subala, pointing at a girl. She seems to be sowing whole groves of blue lotuses. The image is her eyes: her dark, restless glances bloom like blue lotuses springing up on every side.
An udāharaṇa illustrating raty-udbhava — the awakening of rati, the abiding love — in the nāyaka (Kṛṣṇa) from the nāyikā's svābhiyoga, her own courting (here done through her restless eyes). Per Viśvanātha it pairs with the preceding verse, which showed the reverse: love awakening in the nāyikā from the nāyaka's courting.

diśi diśi locana-cāpalāc calākṣī |
diśi diśiin every single direction locative doubled (vīpsā) = 'in each and every direction'हर एक दिशा में (द्विरुक्ति से 'प्रत्येक दिशा में')
locana-cāpalātbecause of the restlessness of her eyes ablative of cause — this is the phrase Viśvanātha singles out as her 'ocular courting' (cākṣuṣa abhiyoga)आँखों की चंचलता के कारण
calākṣīthe restless-eyed girl, whose glances never hold still nom. fem. bahuvrīhi — 'she whose eyes (akṣi) are moving (cala)'जिसकी आँखें चंचल हैं, ऐसी वह
locana-cāpalāt — because of the restlessness of her eyes; diśi diśi — in every direction; calākṣī — the restless-eyed girl [scattering them].
And she scatters them in every direction — all from the sheer restlessness of her eyes. She is the restless-eyed girl, her glances darting and never still.

harati taraṇijā-taṭe puraḥ kā
haratishe steals, carries off 3sg present, the main verb; its object waits until L4 (citta-cañcarīkam)हर लेती है (मुख्य क्रिया; इसका कर्म L4 में 'चित्तरूपी भौंरा' है)
taraṇijā-taṭeon the bank of the Yamunā locative; taraṇijā = 'daughter of the sun' = the river Yamunāयमुना के तट पर (तरणिजा = सूर्य की पुत्री = यमुना)
puraḥright here in front of meसामने
kāwho is she? interrogative nom. fem. — the whole verse is Kṛṣṇa's one questionकौन है (यही सारे श्लोक में कृष्ण का एकमात्र प्रश्न)
kā — who [is she]; puraḥ — here before me; taraṇijā-taṭe — on the bank of the Yamunā; harati — carries off.
Who is she, standing right here before me on the bank of the Yamunā, carrying something off?

subala balān mama citta-cañcarīkam ||
subalaO Subala vocative — Kṛṣṇa is asking his cowherd friendहे सुबल (कृष्ण अपने ग्वालमित्र से पूछ रहे हैं)
balātby force, against my willबलपूर्वक / जबरन
mamamy ownमेरे
citta-cañcarīkamthe bee that is my mind acc., object of harati; a rūpaka — citta (mind) = cañcarīka (bee). It completes L1's image: a bee is drawn to lotuses, so her lotus-eyes carry off the bee of his mindचित्तरूपी भौंरे को (हरति का कर्म; चित्त = मन, चंचरीक = भौंरा)
subala — O Subala; mama citta-cañcarīkam — the bee of my mind; balāt — by force; harati — she carries off.
She forcibly steals away the bee of my mind, Subala. My mind is a bee drawn to those lotus-eyes, and she bears it off against my will. The lotuses of L1 and the bee here are one picture: the bee cannot help going to the lotus.

vyākhyātam[was] commented on neuter past participle used impersonally — '[here nothing] was explained'व्याख्या की गई (भाववाच्य में — 'यहाँ कुछ भी व्याख्या नहीं की गई')
na — not; vyākhyātam — commented on ('[it] was not explained').
Jīva gives no comment on this verse. His line reads simply: 'not explained.'
An editorial remark standing in for Jīva's commentary: he passed over this verse without a gloss.

nāyaka-svābhiyogān nāyikāyā raty-udbhavam udāhṛtya nāyikā-svābhiyogān nāyakasya raty-udbhavam udāhartum āha—yathā veti |
nāyaka-svābhiyogātfrom the hero's own courting ablative of cause; svābhiyoga = wooing done by oneself (sva-), directly, not through a go-betweenनायक के स्वाभियोग के कारण (स्वाभियोग = स्वयं, सीधे किया गया प्रणय-निवेदन, दूती के बिना)

nāyikā-svābhiyogātfrom the heroine's own courting ablative of cause — the mirror-image case now taken upनायिका के स्वाभियोग के कारण — अब इसका उलटा पक्ष लिया जाता है

yathā vā itiwith the words 'yathā vā' — 'or, as follows' the lead-in tag marking this as the second, alternate example'यथा वा' यह कहकर — जो इसे दूसरे, वैकल्पिक उदाहरण के रूप में चिह्नित करता है
nāyaka-svābhiyogāt nāyikāyāḥ raty-udbhavam udāhṛtya — having illustrated love arising in the heroine from the hero's courting; nāyikā-svābhiyogāt nāyakasya raty-udbhavam udāhartum — in order now to illustrate love arising in the hero from the heroine's courting; āha yathā vā iti — he says 'or, as follows.'
Having just shown how the heroine's love awakens from the hero's own courting, Rūpa now turns to the mirror case: how the hero's love awakens from the heroine's courting. So he introduces it with 'yathā vā' — 'or, as follows.'
svābhiyoga = wooing carried out by oneself (sva-), directly, rather than through a dūtī (go-between); abhiyoga is 'pressing one's suit, courting.' The two paired verses show rati awakening in both directions — hero courts, heroine's love stirs; then heroine courts, hero's love stirs.
