uru-kaṇṭha-nādaṁ — the loud throat-roar; nidrā-pramoda-haram api — even though it stole away the delight of their sleep.
The lion's mighty roar had carried off the sweetness of their sleep. Even so — and here the verb is still coming — Kṛṣṇa praised it.
An udāharaṇa of prabodha, 'awakening / the ending of sleep' (so Viśvanātha, nidrā-nivṛtti), the vyabhicāri-bhāva whose lakṣaṇa precedes this verse; here recited by Vṛndā to Paurṇamāsī (Viśvanātha).

śiti-kaṇṭha-patatra-mauliḥhe whose crest-crown is the peacock's feather — Kṛṣṇa nom. — the subject; bahuvrīhi.
śiti-kaṇṭha-patatra-mauliḥ — the peacock-feather-crested one, Kṛṣṇa; kaṇṭhī-ravasya (nādaṁ) — the roar of the lion.
kaṇṭhī-rava is a name for the lion. And 'he whose crown is the peacock's feather' is Kṛṣṇa. So the subject and object stand assembled: peacock-crested Kṛṣṇa — the lion's roar.
śiti-kaṇṭha, 'the dark-/blue-necked one,' is a stock epithet of the peacock (also of Śiva); here it means the peacock, whose feather crowns Kṛṣṇa.

Now the verb lands: tuṣṭāva, 'he praised.' Then the long word begins that describes Rādhā — jolted awake in a rush, her eyes still rolling and unsteady. Viśvanātha glosses pariplavākṣī as cañcala-netrā, 'tremulous-eyed.'

Rādhā's breasts are called a girindra, a 'mountain-king' — a metaphor for their fullness. Startled awake, she flung them hard against Kṛṣṇa. That sudden embrace is why he blessed the very roar that woke them: Viśvanātha marks this whole line as the reason (hetu) for his praise.
girindra ('king of mountains') for the breast is a rūpaka; the joke and the rasa both turn on it — the 'harm' of the roar delivered the embrace, so the roar earns praise.

One might worry that a lion's roar drags in the bhayānaka, the 'fearsome' rasa, and spoils the sweet mood. Jīva answers on two counts. First, the lion is far off, up on a distant mountain; it only roared. Second, even so fierce a beast, held in the power of Kṛṣṇa's nearness, can do no harm at all. So the fearsome never really enters: the madhura-rasa here is never dragged down into a mere rasābhāsa.
bhayānaka is the 'fearsome' rasa; a rasa-ābhāsa (rasābhāsa) is a defective 'semblance' of rasa produced when an unfitting mood intrudes. Jīva's point is that neither condition is met.

nidrā-nivṛttiḥis the ceasing of sleepनिद्रा की निवृत्ति (नींद का टूट जाना)
prabodhaḥ — prabodha; nidrā-nivṛttiḥ — is the ceasing of sleep.
Viśvanātha fixes the term first: prabodha means nidrā-nivṛtti — the ending of sleep, waking up. That is the vyabhicāri-bhāva this verse illustrates.

śitikaṇṭha-patatra-mauliḥ = piñcha-mukuṭaḥ — the peacock-feather-crowned one; kaṇṭhī-ravasya siṁhasya nādaṁ — the roar of the lion; tuṣṭāva — praised.
Now Viśvanātha strings the sentence together. kaṇṭhī-rava is the lion; śiti-kaṇṭha-patatra-mauli he restates plainly as piñcha-mukuṭa, 'peacock-feather-crown' — Kṛṣṇa. So: the peacock-crested Kṛṣṇa praised the lion's roar.

Why did he praise the roar? The reason, Viśvanātha notes, is spelled out in the 'satvara-...' part that follows — because Rādhā woke with a start and pressed against him. The startle is what earns the roar its praise.

pariplavākṣī he glosses as cañcala-netrā — her eyes darting and unsteady. Woken all at once, Rādhā's eyes are still swimming.
In the verse the stem sits inside the compound as pariplavākṣa-; Viśvanātha quotes it as the feminine pariplavākṣī, since it describes Rādhā.
