An udāharaṇa of āvega (a sudden flurry of the mind), specifically priya-darśana-ja — the agitation born of seeing the beloved; from Lalita-mādhava 2.11. Rādhā, thrown off balance at the sight, questions her friend.

Ah! — with the restless, sidelong-darting thieves that are the corners of his eyes...
The line launches a rūpaka (sustained metaphor) of a robbery: the sidelong glances (dṛg-añcala) are cast as thieves (taskara). L4 completes it — composure is the wealth, the heart the vault they burgle.

In other words: one is left bewildered about what to do. Viśvanātha unpacks the 'reeling' as losing hold of what action to take.
