ramayantu tāvad amalair
ramayantulet them delight [Kṛṣṇa] — for the moment 3rd-pl. imperative, causative of ram: 'let them give pleasure to'वे (कृष्ण को) आनन्दित करें (प्रेरणार्थक आज्ञा)
tāvatjust so long, only until… (the near half of a 'so long as… only until' pair completed by yāvat in L4) correlative tāvat … yāvatतब तक (आगे 'यावत्' से जुड़ा सहसम्बन्धी)
amalaiḥwith their spotless, faultless [sounds] — describes the dhvani- of L2 instrumental of means, agreeing with dhvanibhiḥनिर्मल (स्वरों) के द्वारा
ramayantu — let them give delight; tāvat — for just so long; amalaiḥ [dhvanibhiḥ] — with their spotless sounds
Let them delight Kṛṣṇa for now — with their pure, faultless sounds… The sentence runs on into the next line. 'Only so long' (tāvat) already sets a limit that L4 will close: only until someone better sings.
Opening line of the udāharaṇa (illustrative verse). The lead-in guṇena, yathā— marks it as an example of a vyabhicāri-bhāva stirred by a guṇa — an excellence or skill, here Lalitā's matchless singing. The verse is a boast dramatizing that self-assured pride; Viśvanātha places it in a song-contest among rival beauties, spoken by a friend of Lalitā. A running bird-metaphor governs the whole verse: the gopīs are figured as doves (kapota) and Lalitā as the cuckoo (kokilā).

gopī-kapotikāḥ — the gopī-doves; dhvanibhiḥ — with their sounds; kṛṣṇam ramayantu — let them delight Kṛṣṇa
Let the gopī-doves delight Kṛṣṇa with their cooing — for now. The gopīs are cast as doves, and their singing is only pleasant cooing, set up to be outshone by the cuckoo in the next lines.

kala-kaṇṭhīthe sweet-throated one — i.e. the female cuckoo (kala-kaṇṭhī literally 'she of the melodious throat') epithet completing the dove/cuckoo metaphor; both commentators gloss it as kokilāमधुर कण्ठवाली (अर्थात् कोकिला)
iha — here; lalitā kala-kaṇṭhī — Lalitā, the sweet-throated cuckoo
Here Lalitā, the sweet-throated one — the cuckoo of this flock. The metaphor now names its top singer: against the doves stands the cuckoo, whose note eclipses all cooing.

kalaṁ na yāvat prapañcayati ||
kalamher low, sweet warble — the cuckoo's melodious note accusative, object of prapañcayatiमधुर तान (कलरव) को (कर्म)
na yāvatso long as she has not yet… — i.e. only until she does (the far half answering tāvat in L1) yāvat … na with tāvat = 'only until'; the boast turns on this limitजब तक नहीं ('तब तक' के साथ = केवल तभी तक)
prapañcayatilets [it] ring out, unfolds, puts it on full display 3rd-sg. presentफैलाकर प्रकट करती है
yāvat — so long as; [lalitā] kalam na prapañcayati — she has not yet let her sweet note ring out
…only for as long as Lalitā here has not yet let her own sweet warble ring out. The whole boast sits in the tāvat…yāvat frame: let the dove-gopīs please Kṛṣṇa 'only until' the cuckoo Lalitā opens her throat — once she sings, their cooing counts for nothing. The pride is spoken on Lalitā's behalf by her friend.

Jīva spells out the metaphor: the verse's 'sweet-throated one' (kala-kaṇṭhī) is the cuckoo (kokilā), and Lalitā alone is that cuckoo. The one word 'eva' carries the boast — she, and no one else.
