dvayī netrayoḥthe pair of the two eyes netrayoḥ genitive dual under dvayī, 'the twosome of the eyes'दोनों नेत्रों की जोड़ी
jaṅghe — the two shanks; sthāvaratāṁ gate — went stiff, reaching a tree-like standstill; netrayoḥ dvayī — the pair of the two eyes; parihṛta-spandā — with its throbbing given up [became].
jaṅghe — दोनों जंघाएँ; sthāvaratāṁ gate — स्थावरता को प्राप्त हो गईं; parihṛta-spandā — निस्पन्द हुई; dvayī netrayoḥ — नेत्रों की वह जोड़ी।
The two shanks went stiff, standing like a tree. And the pair of eyes lost every flicker of movement.
दोनों जंघाएँ जड़ वस्तु के समान निश्चल हो गईं। और नेत्रों की जोड़ी का स्पन्दन भी रुक गया — पलक झपकना बन्द हो गया।
An udāharaṇa of pralaya — the total dissolution of all the body's faculties in love — here arising from happiness (sukhena), as the lead-in states: 'atha pralayaḥ, sa sukhena, yathā—' ('Now pralaya; it comes from happiness; as follows'). The illustration runs limb by limb across all four lines.
यह प्रलय का एक उदाहरण है — प्रेम में शरीर की समस्त इन्द्रियों-अंगों का पूर्ण विगलन। यहाँ यह प्रलय सुख से उत्पन्न हुआ है, जैसा भूमिका में कहा गया — 'अब प्रलय; वह सुख से होता है; जैसे—'। यह उदाहरण चारों चरणों में एक-एक अंग को लेकर क्रमशः चलता है।

kaṇṭhaḥ — the throat; kuṇṭhita-nisvanaḥ — its sound gone blunt [became]; ca — and; nāsā-puṭī — the nostril; vighaṭita-śvāsā — its breath broken off [became].
kaṇṭha kuṇṭhita-nisvano — कण्ठ, जिसका स्वर मन्द पड़ गया; vighaṭita-śvāsā ca nāsā-puṭī — और नासापुट, जिसका श्वास टूट गया।
The throat's sound went dull, the voice choked off. And the nostril's breathing came apart and stopped.
कण्ठ का स्वर कुण्ठित हो गया — बोल फूटना बन्द हो गया। और नासापुट का श्वास भी टूट-बिखर गया।
Line two continues the limb-by-limb catalogue of pralaya: after legs and eyes, now voice and breath fail.
दूसरा चरण प्रलय की अंग-दर-अंग सूची को आगे बढ़ाता है — जंघा और नेत्रों के बाद अब वाणी और श्वास शिथिल पड़ जाते हैं।

rādhāyāḥ — Rādhā's [mind]; parama-pramoda-sudhayā — by the nectar of her supreme joy; dhautaṁ — washed clean; mādhave puraḥ — when Mādhava was right in front.
rādhāyāḥ — राधा का; parama-pramoda-sudhayā — परम हर्ष रूपी अमृत से; dhautaṁ — धुला हुआ; puro — सामने; mādhave — माधव के।
Rādhā's mind, washed clean by the nectar of her supreme joy, with Mādhava standing right before her —
राधा का मन परम हर्ष रूपी अमृत से धुलकर निर्मल हो गया। और यह सब तब हुआ जब सामने माधव थे।
Line three sets up the climax of line four: the subject is Rādhā's mind, and 'dhautaṁ' (washed clean) reaches forward to 'manaḥ' in the next line. 'sudhā' (nectar) is kept for the joy that rinses the mind spotless.
तीसरा चरण चौथे चरण की चरम स्थिति की भूमिका बाँधता है — यहाँ कर्ता राधा का मन है, और 'धौतम्' (धुला हुआ) आगे बढ़कर अगले चरण के 'मन' से जुड़ता है। 'सुधा' (अमृत) उस आनन्द के लिए रखा गया है जो मन को निर्मल धो देता है।

sākṣātkāram itewhen [Mādhava] had come into direct sight locative absolute with mādhave; ite (from √i, 'gone') = 'having reached', its object sākṣātkāramसाक्षात्कार को प्राप्त होने पर — 'इते' √इ 'जाना' से, अर्थात् 'पहुँचकर', इसका कर्म 'साक्षात्कार'; माधव के साथ यह 'जब' वाला वाक्यांश है
mano’pieven the mind — the one faculty you would think stays awake api marks the mind as the surprising, climactic member after the outer organsमन भी — 'भी' से मन को बाह्य इन्द्रियों के बाद चरम, आश्चर्यजनक सदस्य के रूप में दिखाया गया है
munivanjust like a sage in trance munivat, -vat = comparison; the simile spelled out by samādhi belowमुनि के समान — यह उपमा आगे 'समाधि' से स्पष्ट होती है
manyeI suppose, I would guess (the speaker's own conjecture) 1st sg.; Viśvanātha will say it governs every clause of the verseमैं मानती हूँ (उत्तम पुरुष एकवचन)
samādhiṁ dadhesettled into samādhi — held deep absorption the finite verb of the sentenceसमाधि धारण कर ली — वाक्य की मुख्य क्रिया
mādhave sākṣātkāram ite — when Mādhava had come into direct sight; manaḥ api — even the mind; munivat — like a sage; manye — I suppose; samādhiṁ dadhe — settled into samādhi.
sākṣātkāram ite — साक्षात्कार प्राप्त होने पर; mano’pi — मन भी; munivan — मुनि के समान; manye — मैं मानती हूँ; samādhiṁ dadhe — समाधि धारण कर ली।
When Mādhava came straight into view, even her mind — I would guess, just like a sage — sank into samādhi. Every faculty had gone still; the wonder is that the mind itself dropped into trance.
जब सामने माधव का साक्षात्कार हो गया, तब मन भी मुनि के समान समाधि में लीन हो गया — ऐसा मैं मानती हूँ।
The muni simile is the point of the whole picture: the gopī, describing Rādhā's pralaya, reads the collapse of each faculty not as a swoon but as a saint's absorption. 'api' saves the mind for last as the crowning wonder — the outer limbs failing is expected, but the mind too going into trance is the marvel.

sākṣātkāram ite prāpte |
sākṣātkāram itethe verse's phrase 'come to direct sight' the lemma being glossed'साक्षात्कारम् इते' — जिस पद की व्याख्या की जा रही है
prāptemeans 'when [Mādhava] had been reached / attained [to direct view]' Viśvanātha's synonym for ite; locative absolute — a 'when' clause with mādhaveप्राप्त होने पर — विश्वनाथ का 'इते' के लिए पर्यायवाची; माधव के साथ यह 'जब' वाला वाक्यांश है
sākṣātkāram ite — 'come to direct sight'; prāpte — [means] 'when he had been attained'.
sākṣātkāram ite — 'साक्षात्कारम् इते' का अर्थ; prāpte — प्राप्त होने पर।
'sākṣātkāram ite' means: when Mādhava had come to be directly seen. Viśvanātha reads 'ite' (literally 'gone') as 'prāpte' (attained) — so it is a 'when' clause: once he stood in plain view.
'साक्षात्कारम् इते' का अर्थ है 'साक्षात्कार प्राप्त होने पर'।
The gloss settles the odd word 'ite': it is the participle of √i, 'gone', which Viśvanātha renders 'reached/attained', giving the locative-absolute sense 'when [direct sight of Mādhava] was attained'.
यह व्याख्या 'इते' इस विलक्षण शब्द को स्थिर करती है — यह √इ 'जाना' का कृदन्त है, जिसे विश्वनाथ 'प्राप्त हुआ' के रूप में खोलते हैं, जिससे यह अर्थ बनता है — 'जब माधव का साक्षात्कार प्राप्त हुआ'।

manye iti sarvatra yojyam ||
manye itithe word 'manye' ('I suppose') iti quotes the pratīka being explained'मन्ये' यह पद — 'इति' जिस प्रतीक की व्याख्या हो रही है उसे उद्धृत करता है
sarvatrawith every clause — each faltering faculty, not the mind alone locative adverb, 'in every case'सर्वत्र, हर स्थान पर (हर चरण में)
yojyamis to be carried over and construed gerundive, 'to be joined'जोड़ना चाहिए
manye iti — the word 'manye'; sarvatra — everywhere; yojyam — is to be construed.
manye iti — 'मन्ये' यह पद; sarvatra — सर्वत्र; yojyam — जोड़ना चाहिए।
'manye' — 'I suppose' — is to be supplied with every clause, not just the last. So: I suppose the shanks entered their samādhi, I suppose the eyes did, I suppose the throat and breath did — and I suppose even the mind did. One conjectural 'I suppose' runs through all of them, making each stilled faculty a little trance of its own.
'मन्ये' इस पद को हर स्थान पर — श्लोक के हर वाक्य में — जोड़ना चाहिए।
This is the key that unlocks the poem's conceit: the single 'manye' distributes across all four lines, so every organ's stillness is read as a kind of samādhi, and the muni-simile of line four colours the whole verse retroactively.
यही वह कुंजी है जो श्लोक के चमत्कार को खोलती है — अकेला 'मन्ये' चारों चरणों में बँट जाता है, जिससे प्रत्येक इन्द्रिय की निश्चलता एक प्रकार की समाधि के रूप में पढ़ी जाती है, और चौथे चरण की मुनि-उपमा पीछे लौटकर पूरे श्लोक को रँग देती है।
