rādhike — O Rādhikā; kaṭhorā bhava — be hard; mṛdvī vā — or be gentle; tvam — you; prāṇāḥ asi — are my very life.
Be harsh with me or be gentle with me, Rādhikā — it makes no difference to my heart. Either way, you are my very life.
An udāharaṇa in Kṛṣṇa's voice, from Vidagdha-mādhava 5.31, illustrating the hero's cāṭu — his sweet coaxing speech to the beloved — as an anubhāva; so Viśvanātha frames it below.

The cakora bird has no other refuge but the crescent of the moon. Read the analogy: the cakora is Kṛṣṇa, the speaker; the moon's crescent is Rādhā. Just as that bird lives on the moon alone, Kṛṣṇa has no recourse but her — which is why her harshness or gentleness cannot drive him away.

nāyakasya tu — but the hero's; nāyikāyām — toward the heroine; cāṭu-priyoktiḥ — coaxing sweet speech; svataḥ eva surasā — is of its very nature full of rasa; iti vaktum — to say this; āha yathā vā iti — he gives the verse 'yathā vā'.
Earlier verses showed the heroine's coaxing; now Viśvanātha turns to the hero's. The hero's sweet, flattering words to his beloved are, by their very nature, full of rasa. To make that point, Rūpa introduces the verse with 'yathā vā'.

candralekhām iti dvitīyā |
candralekhām itias for the form candralekhām'चन्द्रलेखाम्' यह पद
dvitīyāit stands in the accusative case governed by vinā 'without', which takes the accusative (dvitīyā)द्वितीया विभक्ति में है
candralekhām iti — the word candralekhām; dvitīyā — is accusative.
The word candralekhām is in the accusative case — because vinā, 'without', governs the accusative.

candram api vinā kiṁ punaḥ pūrṇa-candram iti bhāvaḥ ||
candram api vināwithout even a [mere digit of the] moon api — 'even'; the verse says only candra-lekhā, a streak of moon[साधारण] चन्द्रमा के बिना भी
kiṁ punaḥhow much more, then kiṁ punaḥ — 'what to speak of', the a-fortiori moveतो फिर कहना ही क्या
pūrṇa-candram[deprived of] the full moon accusative, vinā carried over from beforeपूर्ण चन्द्रमा के [बिना]
iti bhāvaḥsuch is the underlying senseऐसा भाव है
candram api vinā — even without a [digit of the] moon; kiṁ punaḥ — how much more; pūrṇa-candram [vinā] — deprived of the full moon; iti bhāvaḥ — this is the sense.
Here is the heightening. The verse names only candra-lekhā, a bare streak of the moon. The cakora cannot survive without even that sliver — how much less could it survive robbed of the full moon. And Rādhā is that full moon, without whom Kṛṣṇa cannot live.
