bhāvāt nayana-cāñcalya-mātra-sūcyād bhāvāt sakāśād īṣad adhikaḥ prakāśo yasya saḥ |
bhāvātthe verse's word 'from bhāva' means — he is glossing the mūla word bhāvāt'भावात्' — मूल के इसी पद की व्याख्या
nayana-cāñcalya-mātra-sūcyāt bhāvātthan the bhāva that is betrayed by nothing more than a flicker of the eyesउस भाव से जो केवल नेत्रों की चंचलता मात्र से सूचित होता है
sakāśātas compared with that sakāśāt fixes bhāvāt as a comparison, 'than', rather than a source, 'from'की अपेक्षा (जिससे भावात् तुलना का अर्थ देता है, स्रोत का नहीं)
īṣat adhikaḥ prakāśaḥ yasya saḥ[hāva is] the one whose display is slightly greater adhikaḥ — 'greater' — is Viśvanātha's addition; the verse says only īṣat-prakāśaḥजिसका प्रकाश थोड़ा अधिक हो, वह
bhāvāt — the word bhāvāt; nayana-cāñcalya-mātra-sūcyāt bhāvāt sakāśāt — means 'than the bhāva shown by a mere flicker of the eyes'; yasya prakāśaḥ — the one whose display; īṣat adhikaḥ — is slightly greater; saḥ — that is hāva.
Viśvanātha unpacks the verse's word bhāvāt. Which bhāva? The one you can only spot from a slight restlessness of the eyes. He then adds sakāśāt, which pins bhāvāt down as a comparison: not 'arising from bhāva' but 'compared to bhāva'. Hāva is the expression whose display is a little greater than that faint eye-movement. Note that he supplies the word adhikaḥ, 'greater', which the verse itself only implies.
bhāva, hāva, and helā form a rising scale of how openly the inner feeling breaks out, bhāva being the faintest; that graded scheme is why Viśvanātha reads bhāvāt as 'than bhāva'.

tato’pi vikārādhikyād ity arthaḥ |
tataḥ apieven beyond that [bhāva] api — 'even'; the display exceeds even bhāva'sउस भाव से भी
vikāra-ādhikyātbecause the bodily change is greater ablative of reason — the display is greater because the visible alteration is greaterक्योंकि विकार (दिखाई देने वाला परिवर्तन) अधिक होता है
iti arthaḥthat is the meaningऐसा अर्थ है
tataḥ api — even than that; vikāra-ādhikyāt — because of a greater degree of visible change; iti arthaḥ — this is the sense.
Why is hāva's display greater? Because its bodily change is greater — greater even than bhāva's. That, says Viśvanātha, is the point. The neck actually bends and the eyes open wide; the change you can see is stronger than a mere flicker.

grīvāyā recakas tiryak-karaṇam ||
grīvāyāḥ recakaḥthe recaka of the neck grīvāyāḥ (gen.) — the neck's recakaगर्दन का रेचक
tiryak-karaṇamis the turning of it sidewaysगर्दन को तिरछा करना
grīvāyāḥ recakaḥ — the neck's recaka; tiryak-karaṇam — is a sideways turning.
Like Jīva, Viśvanātha glosses the phrase 'recaka of the neck': it means turning the neck sideways.
