She turns to the plants of the grove as if they were her girlfriends. "Tulasī, how you flourish! And you, jasmine — you have come into full bloom."
An udāharaṇa of latādi — 'creepers and the like' — as an uddīpana-vibhāva (an excitant of rasa); the illustrative verse is quoted from Padyāvalī 295.

vasati kapaṭa-kandaḥ kandare nanda-sūnuḥ ||
vasati"is he hiding" — he dwells, he lies lowरहता है, बसता है
kapaṭa-kandaḥ"that root of all trickery" — kapaṭa (deceit) + kanda (root, bulb), her fond-angry name for him note the sound-play: kanda 'root' chiming into kandare 'cave' that followsकपट का कन्द (मूल), जो छल की जड़ है
kandarein which cave, which mountain-hollow — completing the kasmin left open above locative, answering kasmin (L3)गुफा में (सप्तमी, ऊपर के कस्मिन् का उत्तर)
nanda-sūnuḥthe son of Nanda — Kṛṣṇaनन्द का पुत्र (कृष्ण)
kasmin kandare — in which cave; kapaṭa-kandaḥ nanda-sūnuḥ — that son of Nanda, the root of deceit; vasati — is hiding.
"…in which cave is he hiding — the son of Nanda, that very root of all trickery?" Hear the chime: the 'root' (kanda) of his deceit and the 'cave' (kandara) she hunts for it in — the wordplay is the verse's spark.
Foreground the śleṣa-like echo: kapaṭa-kandaḥ 'root of deceit' rings straight into kandare 'cave', so the epithet and its hiding-place are bound by sound — a play the lecturer should voice aloud.

pūrvavad eva śrī-vṛndāvaneśvarī prāha—tulasīti ||
pūrvavad evaexactly as in the verse just before — same speaker, same situation eva 'precisely'; pūrvavat points back to the preceding verseपूर्ववत् ही (जैसे पिछले श्लोक में, ठीक वैसे ही — 'एव' निश्चय का)
śrī-vṛndāvaneśvarīŚrī Vṛndāvaneśvarī, the Queen of Vṛndāvana — Rādhā an epithet of Rādhā; Viśvanātha names her as the speakerश्री वृन्दावनेश्वरी (राधा का विशेषण; विश्वनाथ उन्हें वक्ता बतलाते हैं)
prāhaspeaks, utters [these words]कहती हैं, बोलीं
tulasītithe verse beginning "tulasi…" pratīka — the opening word standing for the whole verse'तुलसि' इत्यादि (प्रतीक — आरम्भिक शब्द जो पूरे श्लोक का द्योतक है)
pūrvavad eva — just as before; śrī-vṛndāvaneśvarī — the Queen of Vṛndāvana (Rādhā); prāha — speaks; tulasīti — [the verse] 'tulasi…'.
Just as in the verse before, says Viśvanātha, it is Śrī Vṛndāvaneśvarī — Rādhā, the Queen of Vṛndāvana — who speaks these words, the verse beginning "tulasi." So the searching, half-mad address to the plants belongs to her.
