madhurima-laharībhiḥ — माधुर्य की लहरों के द्वारा; stambhayati — स्तम्भित कर देती है, चुप करा देती है; ambare — आकाश में; — जो (स्त्री)
By its rolling waves of sweetness this sound stuns into silence, up in the open sky, the cries of — (the object arrives in line 2). The subject, "which," is left dangling; we only learn in line 3 what "which" is.
जो अपने माधुर्य की लहरों से आकाश में (सब कुछ) स्तम्भित कर देती है — अर्थात् चुप करा देती है।
An udāharaṇa quoted from Lalita-mādhava 1.51, spoken in Kṛṣṇa's voice, adduced in prakaraṇa 10 to illustrate an uddīpana-vibhāva (excitant of rasa) — here the sound of the beloved's ornaments, Rādhā's ankle-bells.
यह उदाहरण ललित-माधव (१.५१) से लिया गया है, श्रीकृष्ण के मुख से कहा गया, और इसे दसवें प्रकरण में उद्दीपन-विभाव (रस को उद्दीप्त करने वाले कारण) को दर्शाने के लिए उद्धृत किया गया है — यहाँ वह उद्दीपन है प्रिया के आभूषणों का शब्द, राधा के नूपुरों का नाद।

smara-mada-sarasānāṁof birds made passionate by the intoxication of love genitive, describing sārasānām; sa-rasa = full of juice/feeling, punning against the bird-nameकाम के मद से रस-भरे हुए (जो 'सारस' नाम के साथ श्लेष रचता है)
sārasānāṁof the sārasa cranes genitive, whose cries are the objectसारस पक्षियों के
rutānithe cries, the calls — the thing L1's stambhayati silences accusative plural, object of stambhayatiबोलियों को (जो 'स्तम्भयति' का कर्म है)
smara-mada-sarasānāṁ sārasānāṁ — of the love-drunk sārasa cranes; rutāni — the cries [which the jingling stuns silent].
smara-mada-sarasānāṁ — काम के मद से रस-भरे; sārasānāṁ — सारस पक्षियों के; rutāni — बोलियों को
— the cries of the sārasa cranes, birds gone drunk on the intoxication of love. Hear the chime the poet plants: sarasānāṁ sārasānām, "of the passionate ones, of the cranes" — nearly the same syllables twice over.
काम के मद से रसमय हुए सारस पक्षियों की बोलियों को (वह चुप करा देती है)।
The paronomasia (yamaka) sarasānāṁ / sārasānām is the ornament of the line: sa-rasa "full of passion" set ringing against sārasa "crane." The birds are silenced by a sweeter sound than their own love-calls.
इस पंक्ति का अलंकार है 'सरसानां' और 'सारसानाम्' का यमक — 'स-रस' अर्थात् काम से भरा हुआ, और 'सारस' अर्थात् वह पक्षी, दोनों को आमने-सामने बजाया गया है। पक्षी अपनी ही प्रणय-पुकार से भी अधिक मधुर शब्द के द्वारा चुप कर दिए जाते हैं।

madhurimetithe verse beginning "madhurima…" pratīka — quoting the verse by its first word'मधुरिम' इत्यादि (पहले शब्द से पद्य का उद्धरण)
kadācit — once; adūra-vartinīm api śrī-rādhām avilokya — not seeing Śrī Rādhā though she stood close by; tasyāṁ śṛṇvatyāṁ — while she was listening; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥ — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; prāha — spoke; madhurimeti — the verse "madhurima…".
kadācit — किसी समय; adūra-vartinīm api śrī-rādhām — समीप ही होने पर भी श्रीराधा को; avilokya — न देखकर; tasyāṁ śṛṇvatyāṁ — जब वह सुन रही थीं; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥ prāha — श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा; madhurimeti — 'मधुरिम' इत्यादि
Once, though Rādhā was standing only a little way off, Kṛṣṇa did not catch sight of her; and while she stood there listening, he spoke the verse "madhurima…". So Jīva sets the scene as dramatic irony: Kṛṣṇa is speaking his heart aloud, not knowing the very woman he praises can overhear every word.
किसी समय, श्रीराधा के समीप ही होने पर भी उन्हें न देखकर, और जब वह सुन रही थीं, श्रीकृष्ण ने 'मधुरिम' इत्यादि पद्य कहा।
The force is carried by two small words: api ("even though" she was near) and the a- of avilokya ("without seeing"). Together they build the situation — she is present and listening; he, unaware, confesses.
इस वाक्य का सारा बल दो छोटे शब्दों पर टिका है — 'अपि' (यद्यपि वह पास ही थीं) और 'अविलोक्य' का 'अ-' (बिना देखे)। दोनों मिलकर स्थिति गढ़ते हैं — वह उपस्थित हैं और सुन रही हैं; वह, अनजान, अपने मन की बात कह बैठते हैं।

pariṇamayantī — [means] paripākaṁ prāpayantī — causing [them] to attain full ripeness.
pariṇamayantī — परिणत करती हुई; paripākaṁ prāpayantī — परिपक्वता को प्राप्त कराती हुई
"pariṇamayantī" he unpacks as "paripākaṁ prāpayantī": the bell-sound does not just raise the agitations, it drives them all the way to their ripe fullness.
'परिणमयन्ती' का अर्थ है परिपक्वता तक पहुँचाती हुई।

luṭhitatvam — [means] skhalitatvam — a faltering, a slipping.
luṭhitatvaṁ — लुठित होना; skhalitatvam — स्खलित होना
Jīva equates "luṭhitatvam" — being rolled or tumbled about — with "skhalitatvam," a faltering or unsteady slipping. He is pinning down one of the bodily agitations by name: the loss of steadiness, the body's tumbling and slipping.
'लुठितत्व' अर्थात् लोटना, और 'स्खलितत्व' अर्थात् लड़खड़ाना।

madhurimetithe verse beginning "madhurima…" pratīka'मधुरिम' इत्यादि
śrī-rādhā-didṛkṣuḥ śrī-kṛṣṇaḥ — Śrī Kṛṣṇa, longing to see Śrī Rādhā; vitarkayati — muses in surmise; madhurimeti — the verse "madhurima…".
śrī-rādhā-didṛkṣuḥ — श्रीराधा को देखने की इच्छा से युक्त; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥ vitarkayati — श्रीकृष्ण मन में तर्क करते हैं; madhurimeti — 'मधुरिम' इत्यादि
Longing for a sight of Rādhā, Kṛṣṇa muses aloud — the verse "madhurima…". For Viśvanātha the mood is yearning-and-guessing (didṛkṣu, vitarkayati).
श्रीराधा को देखने की चाह में श्रीकृष्ण मन-ही-मन तर्क करते हुए 'मधुरिम' इत्यादि कहते हैं।
The two included commentators frame the same scene differently and are left unreconciled: Jīva has Kṛṣṇa avilokya … prāha — not seeing her, speaking; Viśvanātha has him didṛkṣuḥ … vitarkayati — aching to see her, surmising. Do not harmonize them.
दोनों उद्धृत टीकाकार इसी दृश्य को भिन्न रूप में रखते हैं और इन्हें मिलाया नहीं गया है — जीव के अनुसार कृष्ण उन्हें न देखकर ('अविलोक्य') कहते हैं; विश्वनाथ के अनुसार वे उन्हें देखने को व्याकुल ('दिदृक्षु') होकर तर्क करते हैं। इन दोनों में समन्वय न करें।

stambhayati — [means] tiraskaroti — eclipses, outshines.
stambhayati — स्तम्भित करती है; tiraskaroti — तिरस्कृत करती है
Viśvanātha reads "stambhayati" not as literally freezing the birds but as "tiraskaroti" — outshining, drowning them out. The bell-sound does not paralyze the cranes; it so surpasses their love-calls that they are put to shame into silence.
'स्तम्भयति' अर्थात् तिरस्कृत कर देती है।

"pariṇamantī" he glosses as "paripākaṁ prāpayantī" — bringing the agitations to their full ripeness. On this word his gloss lands exactly where Jīva's did, though his cited form is the plainer pariṇamantī.
'परिणमन्ती' अर्थात् परिपक्वता तक पहुँचाती हुई।
