At this odd, unlooked-for moment something — I cannot say what — sets my heart reeling.

An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse spoken in Kṛṣṇa's own voice) for prakaraṇa 10, uddīpana-vibhāva — the 'excitants' of rasa. It shows a heroine's fresh bodily fragrance (nava-saurabha) working as such an excitant: the scent alone maddens Kṛṣṇa and tells him Rādhā has come. The lead-in yathā vā — 'or again, as in —' flags it as a further example of the point.

viveśahas entered, stepped inप्रवेश कर गयीं
śikhara-dvijā [rādhā] — she whose teeth are like rubies; śikhari-taṭe — onto the mountain slope; viveśa — has entered.
She, whose teeth shine like little rubies, has stepped onto the mountainside.
A sound-play runs across the line: śikhari-taṭe ('mountain-slope') chimes with śikhara-dvijā — but here śikhara does not mean 'peak'; it means 'ruby' (so Jīva's lexical citation on the next segment), giving 'teeth like rubies'. The mountain-word and the ruby-word ring together.

The lexicographers, Jīva notes, know śikhara to mean a ruby — red-glowing like ripe pomegranate seeds. So śikhara-dvijā in the verse = teeth that gleam like little rubies.
Why cited: A lexical (kośa) citation defining śikhara as 'ruby', adduced to unpack the compound śikhara-dvijā — Rādhā as she whose teeth glow like ripe-pomegranate-seed rubies.
