piśaṅgi maṇika-stani praṇata-śṛṅgi piṅgekṣaṇe
piśaṅgiO Piśaṅgī! — the tawny, reddish-brown cow vocative — a cow's name; the string that follows is the roll-call of names Kṛṣṇa cries outहे पिशंगि (भूरे-लाल रंग वाली गौ)
maṇika-staniO jewel-uddered one! — she whose teats are like little gemsहे मणि-जैसे थन वाली
praṇata-śṛṅgiO bent-horned one! — she whose horns curve downहे झुके हुए सींगों वाली
piṅgekṣaṇeO brown-eyed one! — she of the tawny eyesहे भूरे नेत्रों वाली
piśaṅgi — O tawny Piśaṅgī; maṇika-stani — O jewel-uddered; praṇata-śṛṅgi — O bent-horned; piṅgekṣaṇe — O brown-eyed one.
These are the names Kṛṣṇa calls out to his cows, one by one — Rādhā is reporting his herdsman's cries to her friend Lalitā. 'O Piśaṅgī, the tawny one! O jewel-uddered! O bent-horn! O brown-eyed one!'
An udāharaṇa illustrating go-hūti — Kṛṣṇa's calling of the cows — as an uddīpana-vibhāva, an excitant of rasa, in prakaraṇa 10. The whole verse is spoken by Śrī Rādhā to Lalitā (so Viśvanātha).

vaṁśī-priyeO flute-lover! — she who loves the sound of his vaṁśī (flute)हे वंशी को प्रिय
mṛdaṅga-mukhi — O drum-faced; dhūmale — O smoke-grey; śabali — O dappled; haṁsi — O swan-white; vaṁśī-priye — O flute-loving one.

The roll-call continues: 'O drum-faced! O smoke-grey! O dappled! O swan-white! O you who love my flute!' Each cow has her own pet-name, and Kṛṣṇa knows every one.

iti — so [ending the names]; sva-surabhī-kulaṁ — his own herd of cows; udīrṇa-hīhī-dhvaniḥ — his 'hī hī' call ringing out; muhuḥ — again and again.
'So' closes the list of names. He is calling his own herd of cows — over and over — his herdsman's cry 'hī hī!' ringing out again and again.
hīhī-dhvani is the actual cattle-call a cowherd uses to summon and steer the cows; the poet drops the raw sound straight into the verse.

hariḥHari — Kṛṣṇa nominative — the subject; and hariḥ literally 'the one who takes away', playing on haratiहरि (अर्थात् जो हर ले जाता है वह)
hariḥ — Hari, Kṛṣṇa; vidūra-gatam [sva-surabhī-kulaṁ] āhvayan — calling his herd that had strayed far off; hanta — alas!; [mama] cittaṁ harati — steals my heart.
Kṛṣṇa, calling back the cows that had wandered far away — alas! — carries off my heart along with them.
śleṣa in the name itself: hariḥ (from the root hṛ, 'to carry off') and harati ('he steals') are the same root — the name enacts the theft. He is 'the Thief', and what he steals is her heart.

padya-trayam — [these form] a triad of verses.
He flags that this is a group of three verses read as one unit — so the glosses that follow reach across the triad, not only this single verse.

dhairyasya — of composure; saṁvara — the covering [= saṁvṛtti, the shutting-away]; racitaḥ — is brought about.
What the verse calls 'produced' is the covering-over of her composure. He restates that 'covering' (saṁvara) as a shutting-away (saṁvṛtti) — her steadiness is being sealed off.

ambara-maṇi, the 'jewel of the sky', means the sun. So the thing is blazing bright, as if it glittered dazzlingly with the sun's rays clinging to its surface. That, he says, is the meaning.

Now the śleṣa. In s5 ambara was the 'sky' (its jewel, the sun). Here he turns the same word the other way: ambara as a garment — to be taken as yellow (Kṛṣṇa's pītāmbara) or else reddish. Both the colour and the two senses of ambara are left standing side by side, not resolved.
śleṣa on ambara: (1) sky — whose 'jewel' (ambara-maṇi) is the sun, s5; (2) garment — yellow or red, s6. The double sense is the point; the commentary keeps both.
