vivarta: in Advaita Vedānta the word means an 'apparent, illusory transformation'; both Jīva and Viśvanātha here take it plainly as paripāka, a ripening or full maturing of Kṛṣṇa's sweetness.

aṅgāny abhūṣitānīty ādinā yat likhitam rūpam — the beauty described earlier in 'aṅgāny abhūṣitāni'; tad eva kim api — that very thing is the 'kim api'; nirvaktum aśakyam — impossible to define; yad vācakaḥ śabdo na labhyate — since no word names it; kintu manasā eva āsvādya pratīyate — but is grasped only by savoring with the mind; tad mādhuryam — that is mādhurya; kim apīty ādi-śabdaiḥ yathā-kathañcid ramyam ity arthaḥ — the words 'kim api' etc. mean: charming in some indefinable way.
Viśvanātha ties 'rūpa' back to the beauty described earlier in the verse beginning 'aṅgāny abhūṣitāni.' That very beauty is this 'kim api,' this nameless something. You cannot define it — no word exists that names it. You can only taste it with the mind. That is mādhurya. So 'kim api' and the like just mean: lovely in a way you cannot spell out.
'aṅgāny abhūṣitāni' is a pratīka pointing back to an earlier UN verse on Kṛṣṇa's limbs that are beautiful even without ornament — legitimate provenance from an earlier verse of the same work.
