An udāharaṇa for uddīpana-vibhāva, the excitants that kindle love — here the spots and traces of Kṛṣṇa: his resting-terrace, the breeze bearing his bodily fragrance, the track of his cows. The lead-in tan-mādhuryam frames it as the sweetness of Kṛṣṇa working as an excitant. Per Viśvanātha the speaker is a bold married woman teasing her husband's sister and reading the girl's love off these signs.

Plainly the fire of love in you has started to smoke, right here in the house of your mind. The smoke gives away a fire not yet in flame.
dhūmāyita, 'smoking', is the tell-tale first stage: where there is smoke a fire has caught. The teaser claims she can already see the smoulder of love in the girl.
