tvām āyāntamthat you [Kṛṣṇa] are on your way accusative — the content she reportsतुम आ रहे हो — यही बात (जो वह सुनाती है)

kurvatīall the while making [it] fem. present participle, agreeing with the friendकरती हुई (सखी)
divyam ugrama fierce solemn oath (divya = an oath; ugra = terrible)कठोर सौगन्ध (दिव्य शपथ)
[mādhavī] kurvatī — the friend, uttering; ugram divyam — a fierce solemn oath; mṛṣā — falsely; kathayasi — tells [Rādhā]; tvām āyāntam — that you are coming.
When Rādhā is sinking, the friend tells her — falsely, though it is not true — that you, Kṛṣṇa, are already on your way, and she swears a terrible oath to make it stick.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) for nāyikā-prāṇa-saṁrakṣā-prayatna, 'the effort to keep the heroine alive,' the sakhī helper-activity announced in the lead-in (atha nāyikā-prāṇa-saṁrakṣā-prayatno, yathā—). Uddhava speaks it to Kṛṣṇa. Literally kathayasi is 2nd person, 'you tell'; Viśvanātha's alternative construal below reads the whole verse as addressed to the friend ('O friend!'), which fits that 'you.'

And when the wild forest bamboo whistles in the wind, she covers Rādhā's ears.
veṇu here is glossed by both included commentators (Jīva, Viśvanātha) as kīcaka — the hollow forest bamboo that creaks and whistles when the wind passes through it, not Kṛṣṇa's own flute.

By such means, only with the greatest difficulty, Mādhavī keeps her body alive, O lord of the Yādavas.
mādhavī, literally 'the spring-blossoming creeper,' is fixed by both included commentators as the proper name of the friend (mādhavī-nāmnī).

kīcaka: a species of tall bamboo whose stems rub and whistle when the wind moves them. The gloss keeps the sound one of nature, distinct from Kṛṣṇa's own veṇu (flute).

Read 'at the onset of the swoon' with both clauses at once — the telling and the showing — one time-phrase serving two, by the crow's-eyeball maxim. Otherwise, if you tie the later clauses each to its own anchor and leave the first clause without one, you commit the fault called prakrama-bhaṅga, a break in the run of the sentence.
kākākṣi-golaka-nyāya, 'the crow's-eyeball maxim': a crow was believed to have a single eyeball that shifts between its two sockets as needed — the maxim names one word doing duty in two constructions at once. Here 'mūrcchārambhe' serves both 'she tells you are coming' (L1) and 'she shows your image' (L2). prakrama-bhaṅga is the paired fault: prakrama = the construction held steady from a sentence's start to its finish; its bhaṅga is breaking that consistency — which is what would happen if the first clause lost its shared time-anchor.

For 'prakrama' is defined precisely as what is taken up at the start and carried through to the end; that is why dropping the shared anchor from the first clause counts as breaking it.
