āspadaṁ mandiramthe āspada — which he glosses as mandira, a temple / abode [and that abode is your body]आस्पद अर्थात् मन्दिर (है)
lalitā śrī-rādhām āha — Lalitā says to Rādhā; bhuvana-antarāle = tribhuvana-madhye — 'within the worlds' means 'in the midst of the three worlds'; viralā = durlabhā — 'rare' means 'hard to find'; yāḥ cchāyāḥ = kāntayaḥ — the lustres, i.e. radiances; tāsāṁ vilāsasya = krīḍāyāḥ — of their play; āspadaṁ = mandiram — the abode, i.e. a temple.
Viśvanātha first sets the scene: Lalitā is speaking to Śrī Rādhā. Then he unpacks the first line word by word. 'Within the worlds' means in the midst of the three worlds; 'rare' means hard to find; the cchāyās are kāntis, radiances; their vilāsa is their krīḍā, their play; and the āspada is a mandira, a temple. Put together: your body is the temple where radiances hold their play, radiances found nowhere else in the three worlds.
ललिता श्रीराधा से कहती है — तेरा शरीर तीनों लोकों के मध्य दुर्लभ जो कान्तियाँ (शोभाएँ) हैं, उनके विलास (क्रीड़ा) का मन्दिर है।

latikā ititake the word 'latikā' (little creeper) —'लतिका' यह शब्द
anukampā-arthaka-ka-pratyayena komalatva-vyañjakenaby its -ka suffix, the one that carries a note of tenderness and so hints at delicacy, softness the Pāṇinian anukampā -ka (affectionate diminutive); Viśvanātha reads it as suggesting the creepers are soft, slightअनुकम्पा-अर्थक 'क' प्रत्यय के द्वारा — जो (लताओं की) कोमलता व सुकुमारता का व्यंजक है
praveśe sāmarthyaṁis hinted the capacity to get in — a soft, slight tangle lets you enter(राधा के) प्रवेश की सामर्थ्य (सुगमता)
jāla-pada-śleṣeṇa caand by the double meaning (śleṣa) of the word 'jāla' — both 'thicket' and 'net' this śleṣa is the pivot: jāla = leafy tangle AND jāla = snareऔर 'जाल' पद के श्लेष के द्वारा — ('जाल' = लता-समूह तथा 'जाल' = फंदा)
parāvartana-asāmarthyaṁ cais hinted the impossibility of turning back — a net, once you are in, will not let you outऔर (वहाँ से) लौट न सकने की असामर्थ्य
dhvanitamall this is suggested (dhvani), not stated outrightध्वनित (सूचित) किया गया है
latikā iti — the word latikā; anukampā-arthaka-ka-pratyayena komalatva-vyañjakena — through its endearing -ka suffix that hints delicacy; praveśe sāmarthyaṁ — the power to enter; jāla-pada-śleṣeṇa ca — and through the śleṣa on the word jāla (thicket / net); parāvartana-asāmarthyaṁ ca — the powerlessness to turn back; dhvanitam — is suggested.
Now Viśvanātha reads the poet's word-choice. 'latikā' takes the affectionate little -ka suffix, which whispers 'delicate, soft' — so a soft creeper-tangle is easy to slip into: getting in is possible. And 'jāla' is a pun. It means a leafy thicket, but it also means a net. As a net, once you are inside it will not let you back out. So the two words together hint the trap: easy to enter, impossible to leave.
'लतिका' में अनुकम्पा-अर्थक 'क' प्रत्यय लताओं की कोमलता दिखाकर प्रवेश की सुगमता का संकेत देता है। और 'जाल' पद के श्लेष से — जो लता-समूह और फंदा दोनों है — वहाँ से लौट न सकने की असामर्थ्य ध्वनित होती है।
śleṣa on jāla is the point of the sentence: the same word names the creeper-thicket Rādhā would walk into and the net that keeps her there. The -ka of latikā is the Pāṇinian anukampā (affectionate) suffix, here read as flagging the creepers' softness.
इस वाक्य का मर्म 'जाल' का श्लेष है — वही शब्द उस लता-कुंज को कहता है जिसमें राधा घुसेगी, और उस फंदे को भी जो उसे वहीं रोक रखता है। 'लतिका' का 'क' पाणिनि का अनुकम्पा (स्नेहसूचक) प्रत्यय है, यहाँ लताओं की कोमलता का संकेतक माना गया है।
