O friend, again and again I clasped your feet, bowing my head down to them — I even did that much for you.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of mārdava, 'softness / tenderness', for the laghu-mṛdvī (the light-tender confidante); the lead-in also floats the label laghu-madhyā ('light-middling'), and the tension between the two is exactly what the verse plays out (see s13). Spoken by the friend Citrā to Śrī Rādhā, who is in a jealous sulk (māninī) — both names come from Viśvanātha (s1).

— you, your resolve collapsed and your eyes rolling about, will be laughed at even by me.
hasiṣyase carries a second edge Viśvanātha draws out in s13: 'you will laugh' — you, who scorned us, will yourself go running to him. Here in the verse the threat reads 'you will be laughed at (by me).'

'And once you go running to him yourself, that you will be the one laughed at — what doubt is there?' So although the situation lends this friend a touch of the madhyā (middling) temper, by her own nature she is simply soft; and that is why Viśvanātha cites her under mārdava, tenderness.
The technical point: a madhyā ('middling') confidante mixes softness with sharpness and will pay scorn back with scorn; a mṛdvī ('tender') one is gentle by nature. Citrā does bite back here — the madhyā touch — but only because she was scorned; left to herself she is soft, so she belongs under mārdava, not under the madhyā heading. That is the tension the lead-in flagged by offering both labels, laghu-madhyā and laghu-mṛdvī.
