An udāharaṇa of nāyake yukta-vādinī — the dakṣiṇā sakhī 'who speaks fitting, reasonable words to the hero' — the quality defined at UN 8.37-38. Quoted from the Padyāvalī (297). Viśvanātha names the scene: after Kṛṣṇa vanishes during the rāsa, a friend of the abandoned Rādhā seeks him out and rebukes him with this verse.

Viśvanātha sets the scene. In the middle of the rāsa dance Kṛṣṇa slipped away. Scripture says the gopīs 'saw their friend, dazed and grieving, parted from her beloved' [Bhāg. 10.30.40] — that friend is Rādhā, whom Kṛṣṇa had left behind. Seeing her collapse in a swoon, one of her sakhīs went into the forest to hunt for him. She finds him — and just as he is trying to coax Rādhā back, she turns on him instead, with this verse, 'adoṣāt …'

He unpacks 'for no fault.' Her only so-called offense was saying 'carry me wherever your heart wishes' [Bhāg. 10.30.38]. But that is just the pride that suits a svādhīna-bhartṛkā — the heroine who holds her lover in her power. Such pride is completely in place. So there was really no fault at all: that is what 'adoṣāt' means.
svādhīna-bhartṛkā: one of the classical nāyikā-types — the heroine so loved that her beloved stays entirely at her command. A touch of proud command-speech is her natural mark, not a flaw.

He unfolds the address. You are Nanda's son, lord of Vraja, so you too rule the whole Vraja folk. And so, for a wayward prince like you, who could call it wrong — or right — even if you wiped out or saved all of Vraja? Much less could anyone fault you for the ruin of one girl. 'But my heart,' she adds, 'is the cruel one.' Viśvanātha flags this as viruddha-lakṣaṇā — words that mean their opposite. She names her own heart cruel, but the charge lands on him: his is the cruel heart, and his the blame that no one dares to speak.

Then the second address, 'kula-tilaka.' One might object that 'kula' has now been used twice — in 'vraja-kula-pate' and 'kula-tilaka' — and call it needless repetition. Not so, he says. In the first, kula means the whole community of Vraja; in the second, kula means one's own family line. Same word, two different senses — so there is no fault of repetition.
paunaruktya: the poetic fault of saying the same thing twice. It is averted here because the repeated word kula carries two distinct senses — the collective (samūha) versus one's own lineage (sva-gotra) — a difference of meaning, not a mere echo.

Viśvanātha closes with a placement note. Though this verse really points to the middle grade [of forwardness in speech], the words it uses — 'abandons,' 'cruel,' 'did not count even her own life' — carry such bold, assertive force that it is cited here under prākharya, the head of sharp-tongued speech.
The sakhī's speech is graded from mild through middling (madhya) to sharp (prakhara); compare the two axes at UN 8.37-38. Viśvanātha's point: by content this verse sits at the middle grade, yet the audacity of its three key words earns it a place under the sharpest, prākharya.
