L1definition
lalitādyās tu gāndharvā-yūthe’tra prakharādhikāḥ ||
lalitā-ādyāḥLalitā and the rest of themललिता आदि सखियाँ
tunow, turning to these (marks the shift to a fresh group) tu here is transitional, not adversative — 'as for…'
gāndharvā-yūthewithin Gāndharvā's (Rādhā's) band of friends Gāndharvā is a name of Rādhā; loc.
atrahere [in the present treatment of the sakhīs]इस यूथ में
prakhara-adhikāḥare the ones in whom the prakhara (bold, sharp-spoken) temperament predominates prakhara = sharp, pungent-natured; -adhikāḥ 'having a preponderance of'प्रखर स्वभाव की प्रधानता वाली हैं
lalitā-ādyāḥ — Lalitā and the rest; tu — now; gāndharvā-yūthe atra — here in Gāndharvā's (Rādhā's) band; prakhara-adhikāḥ — are predominantly of the bold, sharp type.
Now for Lalitā and her companions. Among the friends in Rādhā's band, these are the ones in whom the prakhara temperament — bold, sharp, quick of tongue — runs strongest.
prakhara names one of the sakhī temperaments: sharp, forthright, ready with a cutting or teasing word. The following verse gives its udāharaṇa.

priya-sakhī-prahitām dāma — the garland sent by the dear friend; tvayā eva — by you alone; arpyatām — let it be offered [to Dāmodara, from L3].
Viśākhā speaks: 'This garland our dear friend sent — you hand it over, you alone.'
An udāharaṇa of the prakhara-adhikā sakhī defined just above (8.16). Keeping her distance from Kṛṣṇa, the speaker foists the garland-offering onto her companion and plays at sharp aversion to him. Viśvanātha names the speaker as Viśākhā and the addressee as the friend Caturikā (see his comment below).

dāma arpyatām dāmodare — let the garland be offered to Dāmodara; atra kusumam — the flower here; mayā avaceyam — is to be plucked by me.
'Offer it to Dāmodara yourself. Me — I'll just gather flowers over here.' She keeps well clear of Kṛṣṇa.

One more layer, says Viśvanātha. That same complaint — 'he torments me' — can, by suggestion (vyañjanā), let her hidden longing for union with Kṛṣṇa show through. The sharp words carry their opposite underneath: aversion on the surface, desire buried in it.
vyañjanā, from alaṅkāra-śāstra: a word's power to hint at a sense past what it literally states. Here the cutting reproach doubles as a covert confession — exactly the prakharā sakhī, hostile on top, drawn in below.
