An udāharaṇa illustrating the dūtī (the go-between) marked by deśādi-vaiśiṣṭya, 'distinction of place and the like' (lead-in deśādi-vaiśiṣṭyena, yathā—): the special setting itself — Vṛndāvana and the Yamunā bank — does the messenger's work. A gopī speaks to her companion, sending her off ostensibly for flowers.

You, meanwhile — go bring me a flower from over by the Yamunā's bank.
The errand is a vyāja (pretext): naming the Yamunā bank — where Kṛṣṇa is — turns 'bring a flower' into a coded instruction. Viśvanātha (s7) calls this the ukti-bhaṅgī, the artful twist in her words, by which the friend is really being sent to fetch Kṛṣṇa.
