amita aparimitaḥ arthaḥ kāryaṁ yato bhavati sā |
amitathe 'amita' in the name'अमित' शब्द का अर्थ
aparimitaḥmeans 'unlimited, without measure' the gloss-word for amitaअपरिमित, असीम (यही 'अमित' का व्याख्यान-शब्द है)
arthaḥand 'artha''अर्थ' शब्द
kāryaṁmeans her task, what she gets accomplished artha is read here as kārya, the result/business, not 'meaning'यहाँ कार्य (काम, प्रयोजन) — 'अर्थ' का अभिप्राय 'मतलब' नहीं
yataḥshe from whom ablative relative — answered by sāजिससे (जिस दूती से — इसका उत्तर आगे 'सा' है)
bhavatisuch [boundless results] come aboutसिद्ध होता है
sāshe [is the amitārthā]वह (अमितार्था)
yataḥ — she from whom; amita (= aparimitaḥ) — boundless; arthaḥ (= kāryaṁ) — accomplishment; bhavati — comes about; sā — she [is the amitārthā].
Viśvanātha unpacks the name. amita means 'unlimited'; artha here means her task, what she gets done. So the amitārthā is the messenger from whom unlimited results come about — she can accomplish any amount.
artha carries a spread of senses (meaning / goal / wealth / business); Viśvanātha fixes it here as kārya, 'the thing accomplished', so the name reads 'she of boundless accomplishment', not 'she of boundless meaning'.

dvayoḥ — of the two, i.e. nāyaka-nāyikayoḥ, hero and heroine; bhāvam — the feeling, i.e. abhiprāya-mātraṁ, merely their intent; jñātvā — having grasped; ekatarasya — of one of them, i.e. nāyikāyā nāyakasya vā, heroine or hero; iti arthaḥ — that is the sense.
Viśvanātha pins down the mūla's words. 'The two' means the hero and the heroine. 'Feeling' means just their intention — she catches only what they intend, nothing more. And 'one of the two' means either the heroine or the hero. That is the sense.
