śyāme — O Śyāmā; vṛndāvana-antar-latā (latāḥ) — the creepers within Vṛndāvana; divyatarāḥ — most wondrous; paritaḥ — all around; sphuranti — shine in full bloom
O Śyāmā, the most wondrous creepers all through Vṛndāvana are in full bloom, shining on every side.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of dor-mūla-prakaṭanam — "the revealing of the base of the arm," the lead-in this verse illustrates. The whole quatrain is one double-meaning speech in which, so Viśvanātha, Kṛṣṇa praises Śyāmā's raised arm as a wondrous "creeper" that bears its fruit at the base rather than the tip.

The śleṣa turns fully on here: dor-latā is at once a "creeper" and your arm, and valayinī is both "coiling" and "wearing bracelets." Viśvanātha spells out both layers in his next sentences.

"valayinī" means coiling. The point is: this creeper is a wrapping thing by nature — let a tamāla tree come near it and it winds around it in a flash.
The tamāla is a dark tree, a stock stand-in for dark-hued Kṛṣṇa; the creeper's rush to embrace it carries the arm-round-Kṛṣṇa suggestion under the botanical surface.

pakṣe kaṅkaṇa-yuktām |
pakṣein the other reading [of valayinī] signals the second layer of the śleṣa — the arm-sense, over against the creeper-sense of s2दूसरे पक्ष में — श्लेष की भुजावाली परत, s2 की लतावाली परत के विरुद्ध
kaṅkaṇa-yuktām[the arm] fitted with bracelets acc. fem., agreeing with dor-latā; valaya = bangle, so valayinī = bracelet-wearingकंगन से युक्त (dor-latā के अनुरूप; वलय = कंगन, अतः valayinī = कंगन पहने हुए)
pakṣe — in the second reading; kaṅkaṇa-yuktām — [the arm-creeper] furnished with bracelets
In its other sense, "valayinī" describes the arm as decked with bracelets (valaya = bangle). Viśvanātha leaves both readings standing side by side.
The verse's headline move: valayinī is a śleṣa — "coiling" of a creeper, "braceleted" of an arm. s2 gave the creeper layer, this gives the arm layer; neither is collapsed into the other.

"ullāsite" means: raised up, and so brought into view.
Reads ullāsite through ud-√las in the sense "lift so as to show" — the raising of the arm that uncovers the base (dor-mūla) is exactly what the verse is about.

nanditaḥ — delighted; kṛṣṇa-varṇaḥ kokilaḥ — the black cuckoo; kṛṣṇaḥ ca kokilaḥ — and Kṛṣṇa the cuckoo; yena tat — that fruit by which [it was delighted]
He unpacks the compound: "nandita" is "delighted," and "kṛṣṇa-kokila" is both the black-colored cuckoo and Kṛṣṇa the cuckoo — the whole meaning being "the fruit that gladdened that cuckoo."
kṛṣṇa here does double duty: as an adjective "black" (kṛṣṇa-varṇa) for the bird, and as the name Kṛṣṇa. Viśvanātha keeps both, so the cuckoo delighted at the fruit is at once the bird and the Lord.

And so, since such a fruit had never been seen before, it was a wonder — the kind of thing one is right to test with a touch of the fingers, to find whether it is firm or soft. And that, understand, is just what Kṛṣṇa did.
Viśvanātha carries the double meaning to its point: under the fruit-picking surface lies Kṛṣṇa's reaching to touch the "fruit" at the base of the raised arm — the erotic suggestion the whole dor-mūla-prakaṭanam verse is built to make.
