vṛtam api muhur āsyaṁ yat-paṭenāvṛṇoti |
vṛtam apithough it is already veiled api is concessive — 'even though already covered'; vṛtam agrees with āsyaṁ (her face)यद्यपि (मुख) पहले से ढका हुआ है
muhuḥagain and againबार-बार
āsyaṁher face — the thing she keeps hiding(अपने) मुख को
yat paṭenāvṛṇotiin that she keeps covering it with her cloth yat is the relative 'the very fact that…', paired with the yat of the breast-clause in the pāda just before (in the lead-in); paṭena is instrumental of means, 'with her veil'; āvṛṇoti is present, 'she covers'यह कि जिसे वह अपने घूँघट से ढक लेती है
āsyaṁ — her face; vṛtam api — though already veiled; muhuḥ — again and again; yat paṭena āvṛṇoti — in that she keeps covering it with her cloth.
Her face is veiled already — yet again and again she draws her cloth across it and covers it once more.
First mūla line of an udāharaṇa illustrating vyāja-sambhramādy-aṅga-saṁvṛtiḥ — 'the concealing of a limb under the pretext of feigned agitation and the like' — the lakṣaṇa stated in this unit's lead-in. The verse is a single sentence in Mālinī: its opening pāda (the girl re-covering her already-covered breast before the speaker) stands in the lead-in, and this line begins the second, parallel yat-clause about her face.

manyeI can only suppose manye marks an utprekṣā — a poetic surmise, not a plain statement of factमैं ऐसा मानता हूँ (यह कवि की उत्प्रेक्षा है, तथ्य-कथन नहीं)
vraja-nava-hariṇākṣī — this doe-eyed young girl of Vraja; tat — therefore; manojasya — of Cupid('s arrow); manye — I surmise.
This fresh, doe-eyed young girl of Vraja — and so, I can only suppose, it is Cupid who is behind it.
manoja, 'born of the mind', is a name of Kāma / Cupid; his genitive here waits for its noun, śara ('arrow'), in the next line. The speaker is not named by the text or by the included commentators, so he is left as 'the speaker'.

Cupid's arrow has overpowered her; the reeling that follows has gripped her heart — and that, I think, is why she stays hiding herself like this.
