bhujaga-nikara-ākrāntamoverrun by swarms of snakes bahuvrīhi describing the forest; ākrānta = 'invaded, overrun'साँपों के झुंडों से घिरा हुआ (वन का विशेषण)
aśrāntamwithout a break, all the time adverbial — 'ceaselessly,' with ākrāntamनिरन्तर, बिना रुके
asmātand for this very reason ablative of cause, picked up again by 'so' (tena) in L3इसी कारण से
vṛndāraṇyam — Vṛndāvana; aśrāntam — without a break; bhujaga-nikara-ākrāntam — overrun by swarms of snakes; asmāt — and for this reason.
Vṛndāvana is overrun by swarms of snakes, without a break. And that is why —
An udāharaṇa of the arthottha-vyaṅgya dūtī — the go-between whose errand is only hinted, and hinted through the sense of the situation rather than the words (contrast the śabdottha example just before). Per the lead-in to 7.14: the speaker asks for her own sake (svārtha-yācñā), so she is, in effect, her own messenger.

jāta-bhīḥ — gripped by fear; kātyāyanyai — to worship Kātyāyanī; kusuma-paṭalīm — the heap of flowers; na āharāmi — I do not gather.
Out of fear I cannot go and gather the flowers to worship Kātyāyanī.
Kātyāyanī: a name of the goddess Durgā; the young unmarried girls of Vraja worshipped her with a vow, gathering flowers for the rite.

tena — so; krīḍā-uddhūta-phaṇi-pate — O you who in play flung up the serpent-king; śraddhayā — trustingly; asmi prapannā — I have come for refuge.
So — O you who in sport flung up the serpent-king Kāliya — I have come to you in trust, for shelter.

tvām — in you [I have taken refuge]; ekānte — in a private place; viṣa-haram mantram ekam — one poison-curing mantra; diśa — teach; prasīda — be gracious.
In you I have taken refuge. In some private place, teach me one mantra that cures poison. Be gracious to me.
The whole request works on two levels. On the surface: an antidote against snake-venom. Suggested (as Viśvanātha spells out below): a cure for the venom of Kāma — and it must be given 'in private.' The double sense is exactly why the girl herself is the go-between.

And 'poison' quietly says something more. The word reveals: 'I have been bitten by the serpent of Kāma — of desire.' So the antidote she begs for is really a cure for love-sickness. This is the śleṣa the verse turns on: snake-venom on the surface, the venom of love underneath.

Then Viśvanātha fills in the scene. Kṛṣṇa says: a mantra must not be spoken out loud — so bring your right ear next to my mouth. When she does, under cover of 'teaching the mantra' he kisses her on the cheek, and takes her bodice as his teacher's fee. That, he says, is how it is to be understood.
The scene rests on a pun: the 'right' (dakṣiṇa) ear she offers turns into the dakṣiṇā, the fee a pupil owes the guru — a fee Kṛṣṇa collects as a kiss and her bodice.
