sāmprataṁ — right now; naḥ — for us; itaḥ — from this spot; apasaraṇam — a slipping away; syāt — would be [the thing to do].
The moment has come for us to slip away from here. It is time we withdrew.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse, spoken by the gopīs among themselves) of the laghu-mṛdvī type of yūtheśvarī (group-leader gopī), announced by the lead-in 'atha laghu-mṛdvī—'; the gopī it shows is Candrāvalī, named in L4. The whole verse runs on a śleṣa: it describes Candrāvalī the gopī while at the same time painting the moon rising over the riverbank (candra-āvalī, 'a flood of moonlight').

hari-cakoraṁHari, who is a cakora bird acc., object of ālocayāmaḥ; the śleṣa hook — see noteहरि रूपी चकोर को (कर्म; यही श्लेष का आधार — देखें टिप्पणी)
citrama marvel, a wonder to beholdविस्मयपूर्वक, अद्भुत रीति से
yad api — even though; citram — as at a marvel; hari-cakoram — at Hari-the-cakora-bird; ālocayāmaḥ — we go on gazing.
True, we are gazing and gazing at Hari — a wonder to see. And yet we ought to go. The 'even though' holds the two in tension: much as this sight holds us, the moment to withdraw has come.
The cakora bird is said to live on moonbeams — it drinks the light of the moon. Calling Hari a cakora feeds the verse's moon-śleṣa: bird-Hari thirsts for the moon, and the 'moon' here is Candrāvalī (candra-āvalī, moonlight), so the imagery of Hari and Candrāvalī interlocks.

iyam candrāvalī — this Candrāvalī; taṭa-bhuvi — on the riverbank; nava-śobhāṁ — a fresh beauty; sauti — brings to birth.
Here on the bank, this Candrāvalī gives birth to a fresh new beauty. This is where the śleṣa turns on her very name: candra-āvalī means 'a rising row of moonbeams, moonlight' — so the same words paint the moon flooding the riverbank with new loveliness even as they name the gopī. That double picture is the verse's headline, not a footnote.
candrāvalī reads two ways at once: (1) the gopī Candrāvalī, and (2) candra-āvalī, 'a row/succession of moonbeams,' i.e. spreading moonlight. The whole verse is built so both pictures stand together.
