rmām ālokyacatching sight of me — so do not pass me by rmām = -r + mām; the -r closes 'mā prayāsīḥ' ('do not go off') carried over from the previous line, so the sense is 'do not pass by once you see me'मुझे देखकर (आगे मत बढ़ जाना) — पिछली पंक्ति का 'मा प्रयासीः' (मत जाना) यहाँ जुड़ता है

priya-sakhi — O dear friend; rmām ālokya — catching sight of me; (mā prayāsīḥ, prev. line) — do not pass by; yataḥ — because; mama prema-pātrī asi — you are the vessel of my love.
O dear friend, don't catch sight of me and then hurry off — because you are dear to me, the very vessel of my love.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of the adhika-mṛdvī, the 'extra-tender' group-leader gopī (yūtheśvarī), the type the lead-in announces (atha adhika-mṛdvī, 6.11). Per Viśvanātha the verse is spoken by a friend, and the beloved friend addressed here is the adhika-mṛdvī herself.

nadī-viśeṣaḥdenotes a particular river — a river named Bāhudāएक विशेष नदी है
śleṣe — in the pun; bāhudā — the word bāhudā; nadī-viśeṣaḥ — is [the name of] a particular river.
Jīva flags that the verse carries a śleṣa, a second layer of meaning. Taken that way, the word bāhudā works as the name of a particular river. So beneath the surface love-scene a punned reading runs.
The word bāhudā does not stand on the surface of the verse; it emerges only when a pada is re-read as a pun. Jīva merely points to that pun and names the river; he leaves the full second reading unstated, so the decode does not supply which word yields it.

Here too, in this 'bowed-head' verse, the gopī who is meant to be defined — the adhika-mṛdvī — is the very one the example portrays. So the verse stands as her udāharaṇa.

iyaṁ vaktrī tu — but this speaker; laghu-madhyā eva — is only a laghu-madhyā; suhṛt — a friend.
But the one speaking the verse is not herself the adhika-mṛdvī. She is only a laghu-madhyā — a heroine of lesser standing — and a friend of the gopī she praises. The type being defined is the addressee, not the speaker.
A role distinction. In an udāharaṇa the speaker need not be the type under definition. Here the adhika-mṛdvī (the group-leader being characterized) is the addressee — the friend praised for winning Kṛṣṇa's garland at dice — while the speaker is a laghu-madhyā, a companion of humbler rank. Laghu-madhyā names a madhyā-type heroine of the 'light/lesser' grade.
