This line lists the shapes the auspicious lines take: a bracelet, a flower, a creeper, an earring — and, from the verse's first half, a crescent moon. These are the forms the marks on Rādhā's footprints wear. The whole thing is one long compound describing the 'expanses of lines' named in the next line.
The word 'candra-lekhā-' that opens this compound sits in the verse's first half (the lead-in); this stored line carries the rest of it.

candra-lekhā-valaya iti — the phrase 'crescent moon, bracelet...'; upalakṣaṇam — is an indicative marker
The verse names only 'crescent moon, bracelet, and the rest.' Jīva says treat these as an upalakṣaṇa: an indicative sample, not the complete count. The named shapes merely point toward a much larger set of marks, which he will now enumerate.
upalakṣaṇa vs viśeṣaṇa: a viśeṣaṇa is a defining trait, part of what the thing IS (a 'blue lotus' — blue belongs to it); an upalakṣaṇa is only a pointer that helps you single the thing out (the 'house with the crow on it' — the crow just locates it and then flies off). Here the crescent moon, bracelet, etc. are upalakṣaṇa: they only indicate; the marks actually number fifty, catalogued below.

Why call the verse's list a mere sample? Because these very lines are catalogued across many authoritative texts — the Varāha-saṁhitā, other works of astrology, the Kāśī-khaṇḍa, the Mātsya and Gāruḍa Purāṇas, and more. Jīva now draws on them to lay out the full set of marks, foot by foot and hand by hand.

Jīva starts the catalogue with the left foot. At the base of the big toe, a barleycorn; below it, a discus; then a flowering creeper carrying a crescent-moon line; below the middle toe, an upward line reaching to the middle of the foot; below the little toe, a goad. Counted out (the crescent, flower, and creeper telling as separate marks), these come to seven.

'yava' (a barley grain) is a standard sāmudrika sign; 'aṅkuśa' is the hooked goad used to steer an elephant. The tally 'seven' only reaches its count if the crescent-line, flower, and creeper of one phrase are counted as separate marks.

This long stretch actually catalogues both hands. First the left hand: three lines (the life-line, plus two more, each traced by its course across the palm), then five nandyāvarta coils at the fingertips, an elephant below the ring finger, a horse below the life-line, a bull below the middle line, a goad below the little finger, and a fan, sacred tree, sacrificial post, arrow, lance, and garland placed as they look best. Then it turns to the right hand: five conches at the fingertips, a whisk below the index finger, again a goad below the little finger, and a palace, kettledrum, thunderbolt, cart, yoke, bow, sword, and ewer. Only the right hand's tally is stated here — seventeen.
Though s8 introduced only the left hand, this segment runs straight on into the right hand as well; the closing tally 'seventeen' counts the right hand, and the left hand's count of eighteen stays implicit until the summary in s10. 'nandyāvarta' = an auspicious coiled/labyrinth diagram, a variety of svastika; 'paramāyū-rekhā' = the life-line of palmistry; 'karabha' = the fleshy region between wrist and little finger. Enumerations like this vary between manuscripts; the counts are best read as the source presents them.

upalakṣaṇam etatthis [naming] is an upalakṣaṇa — a sample pointer, not the whole listयह उपलक्षण है (केवल उदाहरण, और भी सूचित करता है)
kīdṛśībhiḥ — of what sort [the lines]?; candra-lekhā-ādi-ākāra-bhāgbhiḥ — bearing shapes like a crescent moon etc.; upalakṣaṇam etat — this is an indicative marker
And what do the lines look like? They carry portions shaped like a crescent moon and the rest. Viśvanātha, like Jīva, flags that this naming is only an upalakṣaṇa — an indicative sample, not the complete inventory of shapes.
upalakṣaṇa vs viśeṣaṇa: a viśeṣaṇa is a defining trait, part of what the thing IS ('blue' in a blue lotus); an upalakṣaṇa merely helps you pick it out and then drops away (the crow on the roof that locates the house). Here the crescent moon and the rest are upalakṣaṇa — pointers to a fuller set of marks, tallied below.

Why a sample? Because these very lines are laid out in text after text — the Varāha-saṁhitā and, within the astrological literature, the Kāśī-khaṇḍa, the Mātsya and Gāruḍa Purāṇas, and others. Viśvanātha now works through the full list, foot by foot and hand by hand.
