tasya — since the shoulder; bhuja-śiras-tvena — as 'the arm's head'; amara-koṣa-abhidhānāt — is named in the Amara-koṣa.
This reading works because the Amara-koṣa itself names the shoulder 'bhuja-śiras,' the head of the arm. So calling it 'śiras' (head) is proper.
Why cited: the Amara-koṣa is invoked to license reading 'śiras' (head) as 'shoulder,' since the lexicon names the shoulder bhuja-śiras, 'the arm's head.'
The Amara-koṣa is the standard Sanskrit thesaurus of Amara-siṁha; here it is cited only by reference (Viṣṇudāsa, excluded, quotes the actual line).
