luñchann asmi puras triviṣṭapa-purī-saubhāgya-sāra-śryaṁ
luñchann asmiI am plucking (it) down, right now periphrastic present — present participle luñchan + asmi, so 'I am in the act of tearing off'मैं (इस समय) नोच-उखाड़ रहा हूँ
puraḥhere in front, out in the open (for all to see)तेरे सामने ही
triviṣṭapa-purī-saubhāgya-sāra-śryaṁthe śrī (splendor) that is the very essence of the loveliness of the city of heaven (Triviṣṭapa, Indra's Amarāvatī) accusative object; śryaṁ = śriyam (metri causa); in apposition to pārijātam of L2 — this is what he is pluckingस्वर्ग-नगरी (अमरावती) के सौभाग्य के सार-रूप उस शोभा (श्री) को — जिसे
luñchann asmi — I am plucking (it) down, right now; puraḥ — here in the open; triviṣṭapa-purī-saubhāgya-sāra-śriyam — (this tree,) the essence-splendor of the loveliness of heaven's city
I am tearing it down, right here in the open — this tree that holds the whole essence of heaven-city's loveliness.
An udāharaṇa of utthāpaka — 'the urging of another to battle at the outset' (parasya ādau yuddhāya preraṇam), the sandhy-aṅga just defined in the lead-in kārikā (253). The scene is the pārijāta-haraṇa: the challenger plucks Indra's own tree before his eyes and taunts him into fighting.

gīrvāṇśvara-pārijātam amarīkandarpa-sandarpadam |
gīrvāṇeśvara-pārijātamthe pārijāta tree of Indra, lord of the gods (gīrvāṇa-īśvara) accusative — the real object of luñchann asmi; the compounds of L1 describe this treeदेवराज (इन्द्र) के पारिजात वृक्ष को
amarī-kandarpa-sandarpa-damthe tree that grants the goddesses (amarī, the gods' wives) the very pride of the love-god (kandarpa-sandarpa) accusative, further describing the tree — its blossoms inflame the celestial women with amorous prideजो देवांगनाओं को काम का मद (उन्माद) देनेवाला है
gīrvāṇeśvara-pārijātam — Indra's own pārijāta; amarī-kandarpa-sandarpa-dam — that fills the goddesses with the love-god's pride
It is Indra's very own pārijāta — the tree whose bloom fires the goddesses with the pride of Kāma.

That hand of Indra is a trained virtuoso, yes — but only at one craft: tracing love-designs on the breasts of his queen Śacī.

So how, then, could that same right hand ever lift the thunderbolt against me? A hand grown soft on caresses is no hand for the vajra — this is the goad that dares Indra to fight.

Look — right here in the open, before your very eyes, I am tearing down this pārijāta tree, the tree that holds the whole essence-splendor of the loveliness of heaven's city, Indra's own tree whose bloom fires the goddesses with the pride of Kāma. And that famous 'right' hand of his — a trained virtuoso, yes, but only at one craft, the love-play of tracing makara-designs on the pot-round breasts of his queen Śacī — how, then, could it ever lift the thunderbolt against me?

Udāharaṇa of utthāpaka — 'urging another to battle at the outset' (parasya ādau yuddhāya preraṇam) — the sandhy-aṅga defined in the preceding kārikā (253); the pārijāta-haraṇa taunt, punning on dakṣiṇa ('right hand' / 'skilled'), goads Indra into fighting.
