maṇīndraṁ pārīndra-pravaram aharan nighna-tanayaṁ
maṇīndramthe chief of jewels — the Syamantaka gem, the thing carried off accusative object of aharanमणियों में इन्द्र-सदृश श्रेष्ठ मणि (स्यमन्तक) को — जिसे वह हर रहा था
pārīndra-pravaramthe foremost of lions — the beast that seized the gem; picked up again in L2 as 'that powerful one' accusative; the lion is the one slain in L2, so this accusative anticipates 'taṁ prabalam' thereसिंहों में प्रवर उस सिंह को — यही आगे L2 में 'ताँ प्रबलम्' बनकर फिर उठाया गया है
aharanas it was carrying [the gem] off participle in -at describing the lion's act of snatching the jewel(उस मणि को) हरण करता हुआ — सिंह के छीनने की क्रिया बताने वाला अत्-प्रत्ययान्त कृदन्त
nighna-tanayam[after killing] the son of Nighna — Prasena, the gem's first owner accusative object of the lion's implied slaying (nihatya)निघ्न के पुत्र (प्रसेन) को मारकर — यह सिंह के अध्याहृत 'निहत्य' का कर्म है
pārīndra-pravaram — the foremost lion; nighna-tanayam — [having slain] the son of Nighna (Prasena); maṇīndram — the great jewel; aharan — as it carried off.
Nārada opens his heated account with the first link in the story. A lion — the fiercest of lions — killed Prasena, the son of Nighna, and made off with the great jewel, the Syamantaka. That is how the gem first changed hands.
This whole verse is an udāharaṇa (illustration) of toṭaka — 'agitated, vehement speech' — the sandhy-aṅga defined just before in v067 (saṁrambhi vacaḥ toṭakam, 'speech charged with vehemence is toṭaka'). It is spoken by Nārada in the sixth act of the same play, and v069's lead-in confirms the point: atra saṁrambhena toṭakaṁ prakaṭam eva, 'here the toṭaka is quite plain from its heat (saṁrambha).' The content is the well-known Syamantaka-jewel episode (Bhāgavata 10.56): Nighna's son Prasena wore the gem while hunting and was killed by a lion; Jāmbavān the bear-king then killed the lion; and Kṛṣṇa in turn defeated Jāmbavān — so by tracing where the jewel actually went, Nārada refutes the charge that Kṛṣṇa stole it.

vinighnante taṁ ca prabalam atha bhallūka-nṛpatiḥ |
vinighnantestrikes down, slays verb from ni-han 'to slay' (vi- intensive); the bear-king of the next phrase is its agentबलपूर्वक मार डालता है — नि-हन् धातु से (वि- उपसर्ग वेग का द्योतक); इसका कर्ता आगे का भल्लूक-राज है
taṁ ca prabalamand that powerful one in turn — the lion just described accusative resuming pārīndra-pravaram of L1; ca marks 'the killer now killed'और उस प्रबल (सिंह) को — 'च' यह सूचित करता है कि जो पहले मारने वाला था वही अब मारा गया; यह L1 के 'पारीन्द्र-प्रवरम्' को फिर उठाता है
bhallūka-nṛpatiḥthe bear-king — Jāmbavān, the new agent nominative subject of vinighnanteरीछों का राजा (जाम्बवान्) — यही 'विनिघ्नन्ते' का कर्ता है
atha — then; bhallūka-nṛpatiḥ — the bear-king (Jāmbavān); taṁ ca prabalam — that powerful lion as well; vinighnante — strikes down.
Then the second link. Jāmbavān, the king of the bears, kills that powerful lion in his turn and keeps the jewel. The little word ca, 'too', drives the point home: the slayer is himself slain — the killer killed.

parābhūya svairī tam api mura-vairī tava dhanaṁ
parābhūyahaving overpowered, defeating gerund; its object is 'tam api'(उसे भी) पराभूत करके / हराकर — इसका कर्म 'तम् अपि' है
svairīthe one who acts just as he pleases, the willful one — Kṛṣṇa nominative, in apposition to mura-vairīस्वच्छन्द / स्वेच्छाचारी — यह 'मुर-वैरी' (कृष्ण) का ही विशेषण है
tam apieven him — namely Jāmbavān accusative object of parābhūya; api, 'even', ranks Jāmbavān as the strongest of the three yet still beatenउसको (जाम्बवान् को) भी — 'अपि' से जाना कि तीनों में सबसे बलवान् जाम्बवान् भी हार गया
mura-vairīthe foe of the demon Mura — Kṛṣṇa nominative subject carried into L4मुर का शत्रु अर्थात् कृष्ण — यही कर्ता L4 तक चलता है
tava dhanamthat wealth of yours — the gem you keep claiming accusative; 'your' addresses the grieving owner, not Kṛṣṇaतेरा वह धन (मणि) — 'तेरा' शोकाकुल स्वामी को सम्बोधित है, कृष्ण को नहीं
svairī mura-vairī — the willful foe of Mura, Kṛṣṇa; tam api — even him (Jāmbavān); parābhūya — having overpowered; tava dhanam — that wealth of yours.
Now the third and last link. Kṛṣṇa, the slayer of Mura, who does exactly as he wills, defeated even Jāmbavān — the strongest of the three — and so came by the gem. The jewel you keep calling 'yours', Nārada says, has ended up in Kṛṣṇa's hands, lawfully won, not stolen.

tad-āhartā pāpa tvam asi patitas tāpa-jaladhau
tad-āhartāis the carrier-off of it — the one who has taken the gem nominative predicate completing mura-vairī of L3 ('Kṛṣṇa is its taker'); do NOT read it with the following tvam — the sinner addressed is a different person from Kṛṣṇaउस (धन) का हरण करने वाला (कृष्ण) है — यह L3 के 'मुर-वैरी' का विधेय है; इसे आगे के 'त्वम्' के साथ मत जोड़ो, क्योंकि जिसे पापी कहा वह कृष्ण से भिन्न व्यक्ति है
pāpaO sinner! — flung at the grieving owner who leveled the false charge vocative; this harsh address is the very 'heat' that makes the speech a toṭakaहे पापी!
tvam asiyou areतू है
patitaḥfallen, plungedगिरा हुआ
tāpa-jaladhauinto an ocean of burning grief locative of where one has fallen; tāpa is scorching sorrow, jaladhi 'sea'सन्ताप के समुद्र में — जहाँ वह गिरा है; ताप = जलानेवाला शोक, जलधि = समुद्र
[mura-vairī] tad-āhartā — Kṛṣṇa is the one who has carried it off; pāpa — O sinner; tvam — you; tāpa-jaladhau — into an ocean of grief; patitaḥ asi — have fallen.
And the sting at the end. It is Kṛṣṇa, then, who has carried off the gem — so leave off blaming him. And you, O sinner, you who threw out the false charge, have only drowned yourself in an ocean of burning grief. The savage vocative pāpa and the whole scolding drive of the verse are precisely the saṁrambha, the 'heat', that stamps this speech as a toṭaka.
pārīndra-pravaraḥ nighna-tanayaṁ [nihatya] maṇīndram aharan [āsīt]; taṁ ca prabalam atha bhallūka-nṛpatiḥ vinighnante; svairī mura-vairī tam api parābhūya tava dhanaṁ [maṇīndraṁ] tad-āhartā [asti]; [he] pāpa, tvam tāpa-jaladhau patitaḥ asi.

The foremost of lions, after killing Prasena the son of Nighna, was making off with the king of jewels, the Syamantaka — and that powerful lion the bear-king Jāmbavān then struck down in his turn; but Kṛṣṇa, the foe of Mura, who does exactly as he wills, overpowered even him and so became the one who carried off that wealth of yours. It is he, then, who holds the gem — while you, O sinner, have only sunk into an ocean of scorching grief.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of toṭaka — vehement, agitated speech — the sandhy-aṅga defined just before in v067 (saṁrambhi vacaḥ toṭakam); spoken by Nārada in the sixth act, its heat (saṁrambha) and the savage vocative pāpa show the definition in action, tracing the Syamantaka gem's true path to refute the charge that Kṛṣṇa stole it.
