madhurima-laharībhiḥ stambhayaty ambare yā
madhurima-laharībhiḥwith its waves of sweetness — the surging sweetness of the sound instrumental of means: it is by these waves that the sound does what the verb saysमधुरता की लहरों के द्वारा — इन्हीं लहरों से वह ध्वनि आगे कहा गया काम करती है
stambhayatistops dead, freezes into stillness, stuns causative — the sound makes something else halt; its object (rutāni) waits in L2रोक देती है, स्तम्भित कर देती है — यह प्रयोजक क्रिया है, वह ध्वनि किसी और को थमा देती है; इसका कर्म (रुतानि) L2 में आता है
ambareup in the sky, overhead locative — where the cranes are calling as they flyआकाश में — जहाँ सारस उड़ते हुए बोल रहे हैं
yāwhich — the relative pointing forward to 'this jingle of Rādhā's bells' in L3 feminine, agreeing with jhaṅkṛtiḥ; the clause it opens is completed in L3जो (झंकार) — स्त्रीलिंग, झंकृतिः से अन्वित; यह वाक्य L3 में पूरा होता है
yā — which [jingle]; madhurima-laharībhiḥ — with its waves of sweetness; ambare — up in the sky; stambhayati — stuns into silence [the cries, named in L2].
Kṛṣṇa is describing a sound. With the waves of sweetness pouring off it, this sound stops something dead — up there in the sky. The relative 'which' hangs open here; he tells us in L3 what the sound is, and in L2 what it silences.
An udāharaṇa of prāpti, 'the attainment of happiness,' defined in the kārikā of nc.6.10 (Nāṭaka-candrikā 55): 'the wise call the reaching of happiness prāpti.' Here Kṛṣṇa, catching the jingle of Rādhā's approaching anklet-bells, feels the very happiness he longs for arriving — the sound announces her nearness. Lalita-Mādhava 1.51, spoken by Kṛṣṇa (who, the lead-in notes, grows attentive again, thrilled with horripilation).

smara-mada-sarasānāṁ sārasānāṁ rutāni |
smara-mada-sarasānāṁmade ardent by the intoxication of love — juicy with passion smara = Kāma/love; mada = the rut, the intoxication; sarasa = full of rasa, impassioned; genitive agreeing with the cranesकाम के मद से सरस, अर्थात् प्रेम की मस्ती से उन्मत्त उन — स्मर काम है, मद मस्ती-उन्माद, सरस रस से भरा; षष्ठी, सारसों का विशेषण
sārasānāṁof the sārasa-cranes genitive — whose cries are meant; the sārasa is the crane famed as a lover, so the sound-echo with sarasānāṁ is deliberateसारस पक्षियों की — जिनका कूजन अभिप्रेत है; सारस प्रेमी पक्षी के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है, इसलिए sarasānāṁ के साथ शब्द-साम्य जान-बूझकर रखा गया है
rutānitheir cries, their calls accusative plural — the object of stambhayati in L1: it is these calls that the sweet sound freezesबोलियों को, कूजन को — L1 के stambhayati का कर्म; इन्हीं बोलियों को वह मधुर ध्वनि थाम देती है
smara-mada-sarasānāṁ sārasānāṁ — of the sārasa-cranes made ardent by love's intoxication; rutāni — the [very] cries [that L1's sound stuns into silence].
Now we learn what the sound silences: the calling of the sārasa-cranes overhead, birds already drunk on love and crying out in it. Even their passionate calls fall still when the sweeter sound reaches them. Notice the play of like-sounds — sarasānāṁ sārasānāṁ, 'the impassioned ones, the sārasas' — Rūpa is matching the ear to the sense.

iyam udayati rādhā-kiṅkinī-jhaṅkṛtir me
iyamthis — right here, now feminine, picking up jhaṅkṛtiḥ; pairs with 'which (yā)' of L1यह — स्त्रीलिंग, झंकृतिः को पकड़ता है; L1 के ‘जो’ (yā) के साथ जुड़ता है
udayatirises, comes up, breaks upon [me] main verb of the whole sentence — the sound 'dawns' like a rising lightउदित हो रही है — पूरे वाक्य की मुख्य क्रिया; वह ध्वनि उगते प्रकाश की भाँति ‘उदय’ करती है
rādhā-kiṅkinī-jhaṅkṛtiḥthe jingling of Rādhā's little bells — the tinkle of her kiṅkiṇī (anklet / girdle bells) nominative — the subject at last named; this is the 'which' of L1 and 'this' just aboveराधा की किंकिणी की झंकार — कर्ता अब जाकर नामतः कहा गया; यही L1 का ‘जो’ और अभी ऊपर का ‘यह’ है
memy — in my [heart] genitive, reaching forward to hṛdi in L4मेरे — षष्ठी, आगे L4 के हृदि तक पहुँचती है
iyam rādhā-kiṅkinī-jhaṅkṛtiḥ — this jingling of Rādhā's anklet-bells; me — my; udayati — rises up.
Here the subject finally lands: it is the jingle of Rādhā's little bells. This is the sound that stuns the cranes; and now it 'rises' — dawns on him like a light coming up. The 'my' points ahead to his heart in L4.
kiṅkiṇī are the small tinkling bells worn on the anklets or waist-girdle; jhaṅkṛti is the tinkling sound they make. In the play it is the sound of Rādhā drawing near, which is why its arrival is, for Kṛṣṇa, the very 'attainment of happiness' the kārikā names.

me hṛdi — in my heart; vikriyāḍambarāṇi — swelling displays of agitation; pariṇamayantī — ripening [them], [this jingle rises].
And here is what the sound does to him. As it rises, it ripens in his heart a whole swelling pomp of agitation — the tremors and transformations that love throws up. The one sweet jingle both silences the sky and sets his heart churning. That arriving happiness, welling up at Rādhā's nearness, is the prāpti this verse is placed here to show.
