२५६- इग्यणः सम्प्रसारणम्।256 — igyaṇaḥ samprasāraṇam.इक् प्रथमान्तं, यणः षष्ठ्यन्तं, सम्प्रसारणं प्रथमान्तं, त्रिपदं सूत्रम्।ik is in the nominative (prathamā), yaṇaḥ is in the genitive (ṣaṣṭhī), samprasāraṇam is in the nominative; this sūtra has three words.
यण् के स्थान पर प्रयोग किया जाने वाला जो इक् वह सम्प्रसारण-संज्ञक होता है।The ik that is employed in place of yaṇ is called samprasāraṇa (samprasāraṇa-saṁjñā).
यण् के स्थान पर यदि इक् का प्रयोग किया जाता हो तो उसे सम्प्रसारण संज्ञा से जाना जाय।If an ik is employed in place of yaṇ, then it is to be known by the name samprasāraṇa.तात्पर्य यह है कि जहाँ जहाँ भी सम्प्रसारण का उच्चारण हो, वहाँ-वहाँ यण् के स्थान पर इक् होना समझा जाय।The import is that wherever samprasāraṇa is mentioned, there the ik in place of yaṇ is to be understood.
