Rukmiṇī is describing a human body. On the outside it is just skin, whiskers, body-hair, nails, and head-hair bound together. And on the inside —
An udāharaṇa of viṣaya-bhinnatva ('when the object differs'): two rasas that are normally enemies — here śṛṅgāra (love) and bībhatsa (disgust) — do not spoil each other when they rest on different objects. Quoted from the Bhāgavatam (10.60.45), spoken by Rukmiṇī to Kṛṣṇa.

śrī-kṛṣṇa-viṣayaka-śṛṅgāra-rasaḥthere is śṛṅgāra-rasa (the mood of love) whose object is Śrī Kṛṣṇaश्रीकृष्ण को विषय बनानेवाला शृंगार-रस

cathe two held at once, in one personऔर — (दोनों साथ-साथ हैं)
atra rukmiṇyāṁ — here in Rukmiṇī; śrī-kṛṣṇa-viṣayaka-śṛṅgāra-rasaḥ — love aimed at Śrī Kṛṣṇa; prākṛta-puruṣa-viṣayaka-bībhatsa-rasaḥ ca — and disgust aimed at an ordinary man
Now the rasa-analysis. Viśvanātha finds two moods sitting side by side in Rukmiṇī. Toward Śrī Kṛṣṇa: śṛṅgāra, the mood of love. Toward an ordinary man — the corpse-like body — bībhatsa, the mood of disgust.
bībhatsa is one of the classical rasas, the mood of revulsion or disgust. In the rasa-scheme it is counted an enemy (virodhin) of śṛṅgāra — which is precisely why their meeting in one speaker calls for the explanation Viśvanātha gives next.
s4conclusion
ato viṣaya-bhedena na vairasyam iti jñeyam ||
ataḥso, drawing the pointइसलिए
viṣaya-bhedenabecause the two moods rest on different objects instr. of cause; viṣaya 'object' + bheda 'difference' — the difference itself is the reasonविषय के भेद के कारण — (तृतीया, हेतु में; विषय 'आलम्बन' + भेद 'भिन्नता', यही भेद ही कारण है)
na vairasyamthere is no spoiling of the rasa — no clash between the two vairasya = the 'juicelessness' opposed moods cause when they collide; it also chimes with vaira 'enmity', this laharī's themeवैरस्य (रस-हानि) नहीं होता — (वैरस्य = विरोधी भाव टकराने पर उपजनेवाली रस-शून्यता; यह इस लहरी के 'वैर' शब्द से भी मेल खाता है)
iti jñeyamthis is to be understood jñeya, gerundive 'should be known'ऐसा जानना चाहिए — ('ज्ञेय' विधि-कृदन्त 'जानने योग्य')
ataḥ — therefore; viṣaya-bhedena — by the difference of object; na vairasyam — no spoiling of rasa; iti jñeyam — so it should be understood
So here is the lesson. Because the two moods point at different objects — love at Kṛṣṇa, disgust at the corpse-like body — they do not collide. There is no vairasya. Śṛṅgāra and bībhatsa, normally enemy-rasas, sit here side by side without ruining the rasa. That is how to read the verse.
vairasya is the technical name for the 'loss of rasa' — the distaste produced when incompatible moods are forced together (from vi-rasa, 'juiceless'). It rings against vaira, 'enmity', this laharī's own theme (maitrī-vaira): enemy-rasas would ordinarily breed vairasya. Viśvanātha's rule dissolves the enmity — difference of object means no clash.
