The verse — decoded
L1example
ciraṁ jīveti saṁyujya kācid āśīrbhir acyutam |
ciraṁ jīva itithe words she pronounces, "Live long!" ciram (long) + jīva (imperative, "live"); iti closes the quoted blessing"चिरकाल तक जीओ" — इस प्रकार (आशीर्वाद); 'इति' से यह उद्धृत आशीष समाप्त होती है
saṁyujyahaving showered him with, having greeted him with gerund; governs acyutam as its object and āśīrbhiḥ as its instrument(अच्युत को उन आशीषों से) जोड़कर
kācita certain woman — she is the one doing this unnamed nominative fem.; the text keeps her anonymousकोई (अनाम) स्त्री — ग्रन्थ उसे नाम-रहित ही रखता है
acyutamAcyuta (Kṛṣṇa, "the one who never falls") — the man she greets and (in L2) embraces accusative, shared object of saṁyujya here and pariṣaṣvaje in L2अच्युत को — यही आगे L2 के 'परिषस्वजे' का भी कर्म है
kācit — a certain woman; acyutam — Acyuta; "ciraṁ jīva" iti āśīrbhiḥ — with the blessings "Live long!"; saṁyujya — having showered him.
A certain woman greets Acyuta, showering him with the blessing "Live long!"
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) for the enmity (vaira) between śuci and vatsala. "Śuci" ("the bright/pure one") is Rūpa's name in this maitrī–vaira table for the erotic rasa — the mood he calls ujjvala or madhura elsewhere; its enemies, vatsala among them, are listed at 4.8.7. Jīva (below) adds that Rūpa composed this verse himself, purely as an example.
L2example
kailāsa-sthā vilāsena kāmukī pariṣaṣvaje ||
kailāsa-sthāshe who lives on Mount Kailāsa nom. fem., describing kācit of L1कैलास पर स्थित (वही स्त्री) — यह L1 की 'काचित्' का विशेषण है
vilāsenawith amorous play instrumental of manner; Viśvanātha reads it as mano-vilāsa — play only in the mind (see his gloss)विलास से / क्रीड़ा के साथ — विश्वनाथ इसे मन का ही विलास मानते हैं (उनकी टीका देखें)
kāmukīthe lovesick woman, aching with desire nom. fem.; kāmukī fixes her mood as the erotic — this is the śuci the label namesकामुकी (काम-भाव वाली) — इसी से उसका भाव शृंगार-रूप निश्चित होता है, यही तालिका का 'शुचि' है
pariṣaṣvajeembraced [him] 3sg perfect ātmanepada of pari-√svaj; object is acyutam carried over from L1आलिंगन कर लिया — इसका कर्म L1 से चला आया 'अच्युतम्' है
kailāsa-sthā kāmukī — the lovesick woman living on Kailāsa; vilāsena — with amorous play; acyutam — Acyuta; pariṣaṣvaje — embraced.
This lovesick woman, who lives on Kailāsa, embraces him with amorous play. So the picture is fully erotic — and yet the blessing she gave in L1, "Live long!", is the kind an elder gives a child. That parental note is what will clash.
L3conclusion
atra śucer vatsalena |
atrahere, in this verse [the clash shown is]यहाँ (इस उदाहरण में)
śuceḥof the erotic mood (śuci) — this is the woman's own amorous rati, the dominant rasa genitive of the primary rasa; śuci = the erotic (ujjvala/madhura), per the table at 4.8.7शुचि का — यह प्रधान रस है; 4.8.7 की तालिका के अनुसार शुचि अर्थात् शृंगार (उज्ज्वल/मधुर)
vatsalenaagainst the parental (vatsala) — the mood carried by the "Live long!" blessing, breaking in instrumental of the intruding rasa; the enmity (vairasyam) is left to be supplied, this whole section being on rasa-virodhaवत्सल (रस) के साथ — यह भीतर घुस आया रस है; वैर शब्द अध्याहृत है, क्योंकि यह पूरा प्रकरण रस-विरोध पर है
atra — here; śuceḥ — of the erotic; vatsalena [saha vairasyam] — [is the enmity] with the parental.
Rūpa now tags the example: here the erotic mood (śuci) is set against the parental (vatsala). The lovesick embrace is the erotic; the blessing "Live long!", which belongs to an elder blessing a child, is the parental note forced in. Since 4.8.7 lists these two as enemies, the mixture jars — it lands in rasābhāsa, not a true rasa.
Śuci and vatsala are counted as mutual enemies in the maitrī–vaira table (4.8.1–8); at 4.8.7 vatsala stands among śuci's dviṣaḥ, its foes. Rūpa's terse "atra X-gen Y-ins" tag recurs through this stretch (cf. 4.8.55–60), pinning each example to a slot in that table.

ciraṁ jīva ity-ādithe "Live long..." verse and the rest of it — i.e. this whole illustration pratīka naming the verse by its opening words"चिरं जीव" इत्यादि — श्लोक को उसके आरम्भिक शब्दों से नाम देकर (प्रतीक)
udāharaṇāyain order to give an example dative of purpose → "so as to illustrate"उदाहरण दिखाने के लिए
kalpanā-mātramis a pure invention, something Rūpa simply made up predicate nom.; mātra — "nothing but," no scriptural original behind itकेवल कल्पना-मात्र है — इसके पीछे कोई शास्त्रीय मूल नहीं
"ciraṁ jīva" ity-ādi — the "Live long..." verse; udāharaṇāya — to illustrate; kalpanā-mātram — is a pure invention.
Jīva flags the verse's status: this "Live long..." verse is not a quotation. Rūpa composed it himself, purely to supply an example. Don't go looking for a source text behind it.

And take it the same way for the other example verses in this section: they too are Rūpa's own compositions, not scriptural quotations.

kācit kailāsa-vāsinī kāmukī — a certain lovesick woman living on Kailāsa; mano-vilāsena manorathena — by her mind's play, that is, by a daydream; śrī-kṛṣṇam — Śrī Kṛṣṇa; pariṣasvaje — embraced.
Viśvanātha decodes the verse plainly: a lovesick woman on Kailāsa embraced Śrī Kṛṣṇa. But he pins down "with amorous play" as mano-vilāsa, a manoratha — she embraces him only in her mind's daydream, not in fact. He also names the verse's "Acyuta" outright as Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
