Rūpa now names the pattern. Here wonder (adbhuta) is the secondary rasa that frames the whole scene, and inside it live, side by side and at peace, the primary rasa preyas (friendly love) and two more secondaries — vīra (heroism) and hāsya (comedy). That mutual welcome of moods is the maitrī this laharī is charting.
In BRS's own scheme preyas (sakhya) counts as a mukhya (primary) rasa, while adbhuta, vīra, and hāsya are gauṇa (secondary). The lead-in names the three that meet here — preyas, vīra, hāsya — housed inside adbhuta.

Jīva fixes the speaker first: this verse is spoken by some other friend — one of the boys, not Kṛṣṇa. Whose mood this is decides whose rasa it is, so he settles that before anything else.

These rasas — the friendship, the heroism, the wonder — are on display as the devotee's, not as Kṛṣṇa's. The reason: the whole book is about bhakti-rasa, the devotee's mood toward Kṛṣṇa. So the friend is the one who feels; Kṛṣṇa is the object he feels toward.
