This is Mukunda. Onto Candrāvalī's face — a moon that shimmers and trembles — [he casts a glance]. The sentence runs on into the next line.
An udāharaṇa (illustrative verse) of the mukhya-gauṇa case in laharī 8: one primary rasa, the madhura love toward Candrāvalī, hosting two secondary rasas at once — preyas (friendship) toward his companion and vīra (heroism) toward the demon. The prose tag at L5 names the case.

From close by he casts her a glance — smiling, lit with love, yet only a half-glance, not a full one.

Preyas and vīra are here made mere attendants on the madhura-rati. Because they hang on it, the example rightly sits in the madhura section — which is why the lead-in says 'there itself (tatraiva), of preyas and vīra…'.
