niravidyatayā sapady ahaṁ
niravidyatayābecause I am free from ignorance (avidyā) — the very freedom that is the śānta-note instrumental of cause; the abstract -tā ('the state of being niravidya, without avidyā') carries the reason for what followsक्योंकि मैं अविद्या से रहित हूँ — इस अवस्था के कारण
sapadiat once, in that very instantतुरन्त ही, तत्काल
ahaṁI [the longing devotee, speaking]मैं
sapadi — at once; ahaṁ — I; niravidyatayā — through my being free from ignorance …
The verse opens in a voice of longing: 'When, all at once, I — freed from ignorance …' The speaker imagines the moment he sheds avidyā. Both Jīva and Viśvanātha will mark this very 'freedom from ignorance' as the śānti-vāsanā — the latent trace of śānta-rasa sounding inside what is otherwise a dāsya (servant's) verse.
An udāharaṇa illustrating śānta-rasa appearing as a friendly (maitrī) element lodged within prīta (dāsya) rasa — the 'principal within a principal' relation stated in Rūpa's own tag-line 'atra mukhye mukhyasya' at the close of this unit (4.8.23). This whole laharī catalogues which rasas are friends, foes, or neutral to one another; here two primary rasas prove friendly.

pratipadya-mādhurīmcoming into his sweetness (mādhurī) — reaching / approaching (pratipadya) that sweetness Viśvanātha resolves this compound as a bahuvrīhi describing the Lord — 'him whose sweetness is to be approached (pratipadyā = prapadyā)' — not as a simple gerund 'having attained sweetness'जिसकी माधुरी प्राप्त करने योग्य है, उस (प्रभु) को

niravadyaḥ — [thereby] faultless; kadā — when [shall I]; aravinda-vilocanaṁ — the lotus-eyed one; pratipadya-mādhurīm — coming into his sweetness …
'… faultless now, when shall I come to his sweetness — the lotus-eyed Lord …' Because he is free of ignorance he stands niravadya, without blemish. Then the longing question 'when?' opens. Viśvanātha reads 'pratipadya-mādhurī' as a description of the Lord himself: the one whose sweetness the freed devotee approaches.

indīvara-sundaraṁbeautiful as a blue lotus (indīvara)नील कमल के समान सुन्दर (प्रभु) को
bhajedo I worship / render service 1st sg. present; the dāsya verb — a servant longing to serveमैं भजूँ — सेवा को आतुर दास की भाँति
kadā (L2) … prabhum — the Lord; indīvara-sundaraṁ — beautiful as a blue lotus; bhaje — shall I worship.
'… when shall I worship the Lord, beautiful as a blue lotus?' The two words 'bhaje' ('I worship / serve') and 'prabhum' ('the master') carry the dāsya mood — a servant longing to serve his beautiful master. The blue-lotus beauty (indīvara-sundara) answers the lotus eyes (aravinda-vilocana) of the line before.

atra mukhye mukhyasya |
atrahere — in this example verseयहाँ (इस उदाहरण में)
mukhyewithin a principal rasa (here prīta / dāsya) locative — the containing, host rasa; 'mukhya' = a primary rasa, one of the five (śānta, prīta, preyān, vatsala, madhura), as against the seven secondary (gauṇa) rasasमुख्य रस में (जो आश्रय रूप से भीतर धारण करता है)
mukhyasya[appears the trace] of [another] principal rasa (here śānta) genitive — the guest rasa whose vāsanā shows up inside the host(दूसरे) मुख्य रस की — जिसकी वासना उसके भीतर प्रकट होती है
atra — here; mukhye — within a principal rasa (prīta); mukhyasya — [there appears the trace] of [another] principal rasa (śānta).
Rūpa's own tag closes the unit: 'atra mukhye mukhyasya' — here, within a principal rasa (prīta / dāsya) appears a principal rasa (śānta). Both śānta and prīta are mukhya — primary rasas — so this verse shows one primary rasa's latent trace living as a friend inside another. That friendly compatibility (maitrī) is exactly what this laharī is cataloguing.
The five mukhya (primary) rasas are śānta, prīta (dāsya), preyān (sakhya), vatsala, and madhura; the seven gauṇa (secondary) rasas are hāsya, adbhuta, vīra, karuṇa, raudra, bhayānaka, bībhatsa. This tag labels the pairing on offer — a mukhya lodged within a mukhya — the first cell in the friendship-grid the laharī works through.

niravidyatayā'through freedom from ignorance' — the verse's word Jīva takes up'निरविद्यता' — यही पद उठाकर समझाया जा रहा है
avidyā-rahitatayāmeans: by the state of being without avidyā (ignorance) Jīva restates the same instrumental in plainer words — 'avidyā-rahita-tā', the condition of lacking ignoranceअविद्या से रहित होने के कारण (यही सरल शब्दों में वही अर्थ है)
iti— this phrase [does the work of showing]इस प्रकार
niravidyatayā — the word 'niravidyatayā'; avidyā-rahitatayā — [means] 'by being free of ignorance'; iti — this [phrase] is; śānti-vāsanā — the latent impression of śānta.
Jīva glosses the verse's 'niravidyatayā' with the plainer 'avidyā-rahitatayā' — 'by being free from avidyā, ignorance.' Then he names its function: this phrase is the śānti-vāsanā, the latent trace of śānta-rasa carried inside this dāsya verse. So Jīva pins exactly where the śānta note is sitting.
vāsanā — a latent impression or carried-over disposition; here the residual scent of śānta-rasa (whose signature is precisely freedom from material entanglement, avidyā) surviving inside a prīta (dāsya) mood.

kadā ahaṁ prabhuṁ bhaje[so] 'when do I worship the Lord?'
kathaṁ-bhūtaṁ?[the Lord] of what sort? — he poses the question to set up the qualifierकैसे प्रभु को?
pratipadyā prapadyā'pratipadya' means 'prapadya' — to be approached / attained'प्रतिपद्या' अर्थात् 'प्रपद्या' — शरण जाने योग्य
mādhurī yasya tamhim whose sweetness [is such, to be approached] — the bahuvrīhi resolution qualifying prabhumजिसकी माधुरी है, उस (प्रभु) को
niravidyatayā — avidyā-rāhityena; niravadyaḥ — nirdūṣaṇaḥ san; kadā ahaṁ prabhuṁ bhaje — when do I worship the Lord; kathaṁ-bhūtaṁ — of what kind [is he]? — tam yasya mādhurī pratipadyā (prapadyā) — him whose sweetness is to be approached.
Viśvanātha runs the whole anvaya. 'niravidyatayā' = 'by the absence of ignorance'; 'niravadyaḥ' = 'nirdūṣaṇaḥ', faultless — 'being faultless, when do I worship the Lord?' Then he asks 'of what kind is the Lord?' and answers by unpacking the compound: 'pratipadya' = 'prapadya', to be approached — so 'pratipadya-mādhurī' is a bahuvrīhi, 'him whose sweetness is to be approached.' The Lord is the one whose sweetness the freed devotee now comes to.
Viśvanātha reads the verse's 'pratipadya-mādhurīm' as a bahuvrīhi describing the Lord ('him whose mādhurī is pratipadyā'), not as a gerund clause ('having attained his sweetness'). The decode keeps the compound whole and follows his reading here.

Viśvanātha closes just as Jīva did: the phrase 'niravidyatayā' is the śānti-vāsanā — the śānta-rasa trace. Freedom from ignorance (avidyā) is the very signature of śānta, so its presence here is the śānta note friendly-lodged inside this dāsya verse.
