In kopa, the first grade of anger, the outward signs are things like wringing the hands. In manyu, a deeper indignation, the signs are things like going silent.
The verse grades anger by three names — kopa, manyu, roṣa (L2) — assigning each its own bodily signs; these signs are the anubhāvas, the outward expressions, of the mood.

The opening line of an udāharaṇa illustrating raudra-bhakti-rasa when its object (ālambana) is a vairin, an enemy — set up by the stanza's lead-in tatra vairiṇi, yathā, 'there, in the case of an enemy, as follows.' The angry devotee is Balarāma (lāṅgalī, L6); the enemy who provokes him is Jarāsandha, king of Magadha.

dviṣad-visara-jāṅgalaṁ śatru-samūha-māṁsam |
dviṣad-visara-jāṅgalaṁthe word dviṣad-visara-jāṅgala pratīka, the lemma being glossed'द्विषद्-विसर-जाङ्गल' (यह पद, जिसका अर्थ किया जा रहा है)
śatru-samūha-māṁsammeans the flesh of the host of enemiesशत्रु-समूह का मांस
dviṣad-visara-jāṅgalaṁ — [the word] dviṣad-visara-jāṅgala; śatru-samūha-māṁsam — [means] the flesh of the mass of enemies.
Jīva and Mukunda gloss dviṣad-visara-jāṅgala as 'the flesh of the host of enemies' — dviṣad-visara being the enemy host, jāṅgala being flesh.
jāṅgala ordinarily names dry, arid country (and the game hunted there); here the commentators take it straightforwardly as māṁsa, 'flesh'.

And iṅgala, they say, means aṅgāra — a glowing ember. So dahad-iṅgala (L6) is a burning coal, the color Balarāma's eye has taken on.

Viśvanātha lays out the whole sentence: Mathurā blockaded, when Jarāsandha the Magadha-king was reviling Hari — whose glory of strength is fathomless — with his mouth, Balarāma the plough-bearer, out of anger, drove his glance onto his plough. He fills in two things the verse only implies: the king is Jarāsandha, and the glance is driven krodhena, 'out of anger.'

So the upshot, Viśvanātha says, is simply this: in the battle Balarāma looked at his plough. 'Driving the glance onto the plough' just means he cast his eyes toward his weapon.
