tādṛśa-rūpa-guṇābhyāṁ caand [wonder arises] from such extraordinary form and qualities as well instrumental of cause; ca = 'too', extending beyond deedsऔर उसी प्रकार के (अलौकिक) रूप एवं गुणों के द्वारा भी
lokottara-karmataḥ iti — the phrase 'from an extraordinary deed'; upalakṣaṇam — is merely indicative; tādṛśa-rūpa-guṇābhyāṁ ca — and by such form and qualities as well.
When Rūpa says wonder comes 'from an extraordinary deed,' Jīva reads that phrase as an upalakṣaṇa — a pointer, not an exhaustive list. Wonder is just as much stirred by Kṛṣṇa's extraordinary form and by his extraordinary qualities.
An upalakṣaṇa names one mark only to lead you to a wider set — like 'the house with the crow on it,' where the crow just helps you locate the house and is no part of what the house is. A viśeṣaṇa, by contrast, states something essential — 'the blue lotus,' where blueness belongs to the flower. Here 'extraordinary deed' works like the crow: it flags the wonder-rasa without being its only cause, so Jīva adds extraordinary form and qualities as further kindlers.

But there is more, says Jīva. Suppose it is a devotee who becomes the cause of someone's extraordinary love for Kṛṣṇa. Then that devotee too is to be counted the same way — as something that kindles wonder.

And you can see all this in the Bhāgavata itself, Jīva points out — in the verse beginning 'nemaṁ viriñco na bhavaḥ' (10.9.20), in 'itthaṁ satāṁ brahma-sukhānubhūtyā' (10.12.11), and in 'nāyaṁ śriyo’ṅga' (10.47.60).

Why cited: Three Bhāgavata passages adduced as scriptural instances of wonder-rati — where Kṛṣṇa's extraordinary deeds and the fortune of his devotees provoke astonishment even in the greatest gods, confirming that deeds, form, qualities, and devotees alike kindle adbhuta-rati.

Viśvanātha likewise takes 'from an extraordinary deed' as an upalakṣaṇa, a mere pointer. And he adds the same extension: if a devotee is the cause of extraordinary love [for Kṛṣṇa], then that devotee too should be understood the same way — as a kindler of wonder.
Viśvanātha reads the upalakṣaṇa exactly as Jīva does but moves straight to the devotee case; unlike Jīva he does not spell out extraordinary form and qualities as the further causes the pointer opens onto.
