kuṭumbini manas taṭe vidhuratāṁ vidhatse kathaṁ
kuṭumbiniO mistress of the household — he is calling out to his wife vocative; the whole first half of the verse is Nanda's speech to Yaśodāहे कुटुम्बिनी!
manas-taṭeon the shore of your mind, in your heart locative of place; taṭa 'bank, shore' makes the mind a river-bank where grief settlesमन रूपी तट पर — सप्तमी स्थान की; 'तट' अर्थात् नदी का किनारा, मानो मन एक किनारा हो जहाँ शोक आकर बैठ जाता है
vidhuratāmsuch misery, such being torn apartव्याकुलता को, विरह की पीड़ा को
vidhatsewhy do you keep setting down, why do you hold on to 2nd person present of vi-dhā — 'you place', addressed straight to Yaśodāतुम रख रही हो — वि-धा धातु का वर्तमान, मध्यम पुरुष एकवचन; सीधे यशोदा से कहा जा रहा है
kathamwhy on earth?
kuṭumbini — O mistress of the household; katham — why on earth; manas-taṭe — on the shore of your mind; vidhuratām — such misery; vidhatse — do you keep setting down?
"My lady of the house, why do you keep laying this misery down in your heart?" The mind is spoken of as a river-bank: grief has silted up on it and settled there.
An udāharaṇa of moha, 'bewilderment' — the vyabhicāri-bhāva named in the lead-in mohaḥ, in the vatsala-rasa. It sits in the same run as cāpala (3.4.70) and unmāda (3.4.71). The bewilderment is Nanda's: he tells Yaśodā to look up because Kṛṣṇa is standing right in front of her, when Kṛṣṇa has gone to Mathurā.

prasāraya dṛśaṁ manāk tava sutaḥ puro vartate |
prasārayastretch it out, open it up imperative — he is coaxing herफैलाओ, खोलो — आज्ञार्थक; वे उसे मना रहे हैं, दुलार से कह रहे हैं
manākjust a little — only lift them a bitतनिक-सा, थोड़ा-सा
tava sutaḥyour sonतुम्हारा पुत्र
puraḥright in front of youसामने ही, आगे ही
vartateis standing there, is presentविद्यमान है, खड़ा है
manāk — just a little; dṛśam — your gaze; prasāraya — stretch out; tava sutaḥ — your son; puraḥ — right in front; vartate — is standing.
"Open your eyes just a little. Your son is standing right in front of you." This is the bewilderment itself — Nanda sees Kṛṣṇa where Kṛṣṇa is not, and tries to make Yaśodā see him too.

idaṁ gṛhiṇi gṛhaṁ na kuru śūnyam ity ākulaṁ
gṛhiṇiO lady of the house — he calls her again, by the house she keeps vocative; the word is picked so that 'house' can come back in the next breathहे गृहिणि!
idaṁ gṛhamthis house of oursइस घर को
śūnyaṁ mā kurudo not make it empty the text reads na kuru with the force of a prohibition — 'don't you empty it'सूना मत करो — पाठ में 'न कुरु' है, पर वह निषेध के बल से 'मत कर बैठना' ही कहता है
iti— saying such things; this closes off his speechऐसा कहकर, इस प्रकार
ākulamin a state of confusion, all undone adverbial accusative, going with śocati in the next lineव्याकुल होकर — क्रियाविशेषण के रूप में द्वितीया, जो अगली पंक्ति के 'शोचति' से जुड़ती है
gṛhiṇi — O lady of the house; idaṁ gṛham — this house; śūnyam — empty; na kuru — do not make; iti — saying so; ākulam — all undone.
"Lady of the house, don't empty this house out." That is, don't slip away and leave it hollow. Saying such things, he is completely undone.
gṛhiṇī is the wife precisely as the one who makes the gṛha a home; so 'don't make the house empty' lands as 'don't leave me by dying'. The house is already empty of the son — he is begging that it not be emptied of her too.

sa śocati tava prasūṁ yadu-kulendra nandaḥ pitā ||
yadu-kula-indraO lord of the Yadu family — the whole verse is being reported to Kṛṣṇa in Mathurā vocative; the title is pointed — he is now the Yadus' king, and that is exactly why Vraja is bereftहे यदुकुल के स्वामी!
saḥ nandaḥ pitāthat Nanda, your fatherवे तुम्हारे पिता नन्द
tava prasūmfor your mother, the one who bore youतुम्हारी जननी को लेकर, तुम्हें जन्म देने वाली माता के लिए
yadu-kula-indra — O lord of the Yadu family; saḥ nandaḥ pitā — that Nanda, your father; tava prasūm — for your mother; ākulam (from L3) — all undone; śocati — grieves.
O lord of the Yadus, that is your father Nanda, grieving for your mother. He is so bewildered that he consoles her with a son who is not there — and the consoler is himself the one to be pitied.
The address yadu-kula-indra sets the two worlds side by side: to the speaker Kṛṣṇa is now the Yadu king, while in Vraja he is still only 'your son' and 'your mother's boy'.

na vyākhyātam.
na vyākhyātamit has not been commented on — nothing is said hereव्याख्या नहीं की गयी
na — not; vyākhyātam — commented on.
No comment is given on this verse.
The note itself is the entry: the commentary passes the verse over in silence rather than glossing it. Nothing may be read into that silence.

tava pitā nanda prasūṁ yaśodām iti śocati ||
tava pitā nandaḥ'your father' means Nandaतुम्हारे पिता नन्द
iti śocati— saying the words just quoted, he grievesइस प्रकार शोक करते हैं
tava pitā — your father, i.e.; nandaḥ — Nanda; prasūm — your mother, i.e.; yaśodām — Yaśodā; iti — saying so; śocati — he grieves.
Viśvanātha simply fills in the two names: the father is Nanda, the mother he grieves for is Yaśodā. Then he closes the sentence — saying all that, Nanda grieves.
