sagadgada-padair hariṁ hasati ko’pi vakroditaiḥ
sa-gadgada-padaiḥwith words that come out choked — his voice breaking with feeling instrumental of means; sa- = "along with", gadgada = the stammer of a throat full of emotionगद्गद पदों के द्वारा — भाव से गला भर आने पर जो शब्द लड़खड़ाकर निकलते हैं, उन्हीं से; 'स' का अर्थ है 'सहित', अर्थात् गद्गदता से युक्त वचनों से
harimat Hari — Kṛṣṇa is the one being laughed atहरि को, अर्थात् श्रीकृष्ण को — यही 'हँसने' की क्रिया का कर्म है
hasatilaughs — here "teases him", since Hari stands as its object hasati with an accusative object = laugh at, joke with, not merely laughहँसी करता है — यहाँ कर्म के साथ प्रयोग है, इसलिए केवल हँसना नहीं, अपितु उनसे ठिठोली करना, उन पर हँसी-मज़ाक करना
kaḥ apione of them, some friend or otherकोई एक सखा — नाम नहीं लिया, बस 'कोई' कहकर एक का संकेत किया
vakra-uditaiḥby crooked remarks — words bent so they land sidewaysटेढ़े-मेढ़े वचनों से, अर्थात् घुमा-फिराकर कही हुई व्यंग्यभरी बातों के द्वारा
kaḥ api — one friend or other; sa-gadgada-padaiḥ — with words choked with feeling; vakra-uditaiḥ — by crooked remarks; harim — at Hari; hasati — laughs, teases him
One friend teases Hari. His voice is breaking with feeling as he speaks. The words come out bent — jokes that land sideways.
An udāharaṇa: the lead-in says eṣāṁ sakhyaṁ, yathā — "their friendship, for example", so the four lines illustrate the friendship of the friends just described in this laharī on preyo-bhakti-rasa.

prasārya bhujayor yugaṁ pulaki kaścid āśliṣyati |
prasāryastretching out first gerund — the flinging out of the arms comes before the embraceफैलाकर — पूर्वकालिक क्रिया है, इसलिए भुजाओं का पसारना पहले होता है, आलिंगन उसके बाद
bhujayoḥ yugamboth of his arms — the pair of themदोनों भुजाओं की जोड़ी को, अर्थात् दोनों बाहें
pulakibristling — the hair standing up on the body neuter form of pulakin; Viśvanātha glosses it pulaka-yuktam, keeping the same form and not saying whose bodyपुलकित, रोमांच से भरा हुआ — नपुंसक रूप है; विश्वनाथ इसे 'पुलक-युक्तम्' कहकर वैसा ही रखते हैं और यह नहीं बताते कि किसका शरीर रोमांचित है
kaścitanother one of themकोई एक और सखा
āśliṣyatithrows his arms around him — embraces himआलिंगन करता है, छाती से लगा लेता है
kaścit — another friend; bhujayoḥ yugam — both his arms; prasārya — stretching out; pulaki — bristling, hair on end; āśliṣyati — embraces him
Another one flings both arms wide open. The hair is standing up on the body. And he embraces him.

kareṇa calatā dṛśau nibhṛtam etya rundhe paraḥ
kareṇa calatāwith a hand that keeps moving — never held still instrumental of means; calatā is the present participle, so the hand is moving as it comesहिलते हुए हाथ के द्वारा — 'चलता' वर्तमान कृदन्त है, इसलिए हाथ आते-आते ही हिल रहा है
dṛśauthe two eyes — Viśvanātha supplies that they are Śrī Kṛṣṇa'sदोनों आँखों को — यही ढाँपने का कर्म है
nibhṛtamwithout a sound, so as not to be noticed adverbial accusative attaching to etya — the coming is what is silentचुपके से — यह क्रियाविशेषण 'एत्य' से जुड़ता है, अर्थात् आना ही चुपचाप होता है
rundheshuts them off — blocks themरोक देता है, ढाँप लेता है
paraḥ — yet another; nibhṛtam — silently; etya — coming up; calatā kareṇa — with a moving hand; dṛśau — the two eyes; rundhe — shuts off
Yet another comes up from behind without a sound. His hand keeps moving. He claps it over Kṛṣṇa's eyes and shuts them off.

kṛśāṅgi sukhayanty amī priya-sakhāḥ sakhāyaṁ tava ||
kṛśa-aṅgiO slender-limbed one — the speaker is addressing a woman friendहे कृशांगी!
sukhayantithey give him joy — they make him happyसुख देते हैं, आनन्दित करते हैं
amīthese ones here — the three just describedये सामने खड़े हुए — जो अभी वर्णित हुए, उन्हीं की ओर संकेत
sakhāyam tavayour friend — the one whose eyes and arms the verse has been describing sakhāyam is the object of sukhayanti; tava is the genitive "of you" attaching to itतेरे सखा को — 'सखायम्' 'सुखयन्ति' का कर्म है, और 'तव' षष्ठी उसी से जुड़कर 'तेरा' कहती है
kṛśāṅgi — O slender-limbed one; amī priya-sakhāḥ — these dear friends; tava sakhāyam — your friend; sukhayanti — give joy to
O slender one, these dear friends give joy to your friend. That is what each of the three has been doing — the teasing, the embrace, the hands over the eyes.
priya-sakhā is also the name of one grade of Kṛṣṇa's friends in this laharī, so the phrase carries both the plain sense "dear friends" and the technical grade; the verse does not force a choice.

pulaki pulaka-yuktaṁ nibhṛtam āgatya cañcalena hastena śrī-kṛṣṇasya dṛśau rudhe āvṛṇoti ||
pulakithe verse's word pulaki — he picks it up to explain it'पुलकि' — मूल श्लोक का यही पद उठाकर टीकाकार उसकी व्याख्या करते हैं
pulaka-yuktammeans "joined with pulaka" — with the hair standing up on the body he keeps the word in the same form he found it in, so he does not settle whose body bristlesरोमांच से युक्त — वे शब्द को उसी रूप में रहने देते हैं जिसमें वह मिला, इसलिए यह तय नहीं करते कि किसका शरीर रोमांचित है
nibhṛtam āgatyahaving come up silently — he restates the verse's etya as āgatyaचुपके से आकर — मूल के 'एत्य' के स्थान पर वे 'आगत्य' रखकर अर्थ खोलते हैं
cañcalena hastenawith a restless hand — this restates the verse's calatā kareṇaचंचल हाथ के द्वारा — 'चलता' को वे 'चंचल' कहकर समझाते हैं
śrī-kṛṣṇasya dṛśauthe two eyes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa — he supplies whose eyes the verse meansश्रीकृष्ण की दोनों आँखों को — मूल में 'दृशौ' किसकी हैं यह नहीं कहा था, वह यहाँ खोल दिया गया
āvṛṇotimeans "he covers them over"ढाँप देता है, ढक लेता है
pulaki — pulaka-yuktam, bristling; nibhṛtam āgatya — coming up silently; cañcalena hastena — with a restless hand; śrī-kṛṣṇasya dṛśau — the eyes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa; rudhe — āvṛṇoti, covers them over
Viśvanātha explains two words. pulaki means "having pulaka" — the hair standing up on the body. Then he runs the third line back in plain prose: coming up silently, with a restless hand, he covers over the eyes of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Two things he adds: the eyes are Kṛṣṇa's, and rundhe here means covering, not just blocking.
