sāmbādayaḥ — Sāmba and the others; hariṇā — together with Hari; mukham unnamayya — lifting up the face; sagdhiṁ bhajanti — partake of a shared meal.
They lift up their faces and share a meal in Hari's own company. To eat together with Kṛṣṇa, face to face, is the first mark of their fortune.
An udāharaṇa of 'eṣāṁ bhaktiḥ' (per the lead-in 'eṣāṁ bhaktiḥ, yathā—') — the loving service of these devotees; Sāmba and Kṛṣṇa's other sons, named in L4, exemplify it.

dīyamānam — as it is handed to them; tāmbūla-carvitam — the chewed betel; ca adanti — and they eat it.
And they eat the chewed betel he hands them — his own leftover pān. To take the master's remnants is itself a token of the closest intimacy.
tāmbūla-carvita — betel already chewed (an ucchiṣṭa, a remnant). Receiving a superior's ucchiṣṭa marks extraordinary favor and nearness, not disrespect.

And Hari embraces them and smells their heads. Kissing the crown of the head is how one shows tenderness to a dear one; these devotees receive it from Kṛṣṇa himself.

How many austerities must Sāmba and the rest have performed in some former life to earn all this! The verse ends in wonder: no small penance could buy such nearness to Kṛṣṇa.
Sāmba is a son of Kṛṣṇa (by Jāmbavatī); 'and the others' extends the wonder to Kṛṣṇa's sons and kin generally.

hariṇā dīyamānaṁ tāmbūla-carvitam adanti ||
hariṇāby Hari Viśvanātha takes hariṇā (from L1) as the agent of dīyamānam — it is Hari who does the givingहरि के द्वारा — विश्वनाथ 'हरिणा' को दीयमान का कर्ता मानते हैं, अर्थात् देनेवाले स्वयं हरि हैं
dīyamānamas it is being givenजो दिया जा रहा है

hariṇā dīyamānam — being given by Hari; tāmbūla-carvitam — the chewed betel; adanti — they eat.
Viśvanātha construes the second line: the chewed betel that Hari hands them — that is what they eat. He reads 'hariṇā' from the first line as the giver, so it is Kṛṣṇa's own remnant they receive.
